Thomas Rhett Reflects On His Career Journey

In a sit-down interview with Katie Neal on the country radio show, “Katie & Company,” Thomas Rhett opened up about his career journey and what it means to have earned his 25th number one single.

The country music star opened up to the host, sharing, “Yeah, it doesn’t add up in my brain, you know? I mean, we’ve talked enough, and I’ve probably shared this a million times, but there are some days when I wake up and still feel like a new artist. And then there are some days I wake up, and I’m like, ‘Gosh, I’ve been doing this for a long time.’”

He continued, “When I think about 25 number ones, like you know, I think if I were to tell my 19-year-old self that I’d be talking to you today, talking about that, I would have called you a complete liar.”

Rhett also added that he feels grateful and blessed, noting, “I just feel undeserving for the people that have helped me get here, honestly. And, to just have that number one with Jordan is really special because he’s gotten to become one of my best buddies in this industry.”

Along with his interview, Thomas Rhett took to Instagram to celebrate this massive career milestone. The country music star wrote, “25 number one songs on country radio and pumped to have hit this milestone with my bro @jordandavisofficial.”

He continued, “I really don’t have words, just gratitude. Thank y’all for listening after all these years.”

Rhett also gave his buddy a shoutout, writing, “Jordan, I love ya, brother. What a cool moment.”
