Hilaria Baldwin is offering comfort to concerned fans after her husband, Alec Baldwin, and his brother, Stephen, were involved in a frightening car accident in East Hampton, New York. The “30 Rock” star, 67, revealed that he and his youngest brother, 59, were unharmed after his vehicle collided head-first with a tree on Sunday morning.
Shortly after Alec’s post, “Dancing With the Stars” contestant and wellness influencer Hilaria took to Instagram to thank fans for their messages.

“Thank you for checking in. Alec is ok 🩷. Be safe to all of you 🤍,” she wrote, sharing reassurance and gratitude following the morning’s events.
Her calm response quickly drew supportive comments from followers and friends relieved that the Baldwin family was safe and unharmed.
Alec Baldwin Details the Scary Hamptons Crash
“This morning, I was in a car accident,” Alec said in an October 13 Instagram video. “I’m fine.” He explained that a garbage truck “the size of a whale” suddenly cut him off while he was driving Hilaria’s Range Rover through the neighborhood.
“To avoid hitting him, I hit a big fat tree and crushed my wife’s car,” he admitted. “I feel bad about that. But I’m fine, and my brother’s fine.”
The actor thanked the East Hampton Police Department for their quick response and said he plans to travel to Los Angeles soon to reunite with Hilaria and their seven children: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2.
“Can’t wait to gather my family together, spend a few days out there, and then come home,” he said.
Stephen Baldwin also confirmed that both he and Alec are doing well. “Stephen is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured,” his rep told E! News. “He appreciates the concern and can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well.”
According to TMZ, both brothers were seen standing in the rain speaking with police officers at the crash site. Alec also appeared to make a phone call beside the damaged SUV, which had severe front-end damage. Later that day, Stephen shared an Instagram Story from a Long Island diner, jokingly showing himself ordering a burger and fries at All American Hamburger Drive-In in Massapequa, New York.
