Dancing with the Stars is back for another season, and Candace Cameron Bure is ready to tune in. The Great American Family star and Hallmark alum took to social media to share her thoughts on the newly revealed Season 35 cast and pairings.
The “Full House” actress knows the ballroom well, as a former DWTS finalist who competed on the hit series during its 18th season. She competed alongside pro Mark Ballas through the entire run of the season, reaching the finale and finishing third place. Her time on the show gave her a firsthand look at the experience, and she’s remained a fan of the series over the years. Now, with a new group of celebrities ready to take the dance floor, Bure is once again keeping up with the competition and ready to share her thoughts with fans.
Bure Reacts to the ‘DWTS’ Season 35 Cast & Pairings Announcement
GettyThe complete cast and professional pairings for Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars were officially announced on Sept. 2, during an episode of Good Morning America. Later that day, Bure jumped on Instagram to share her thoughts on the recent announcement.
“I was filming my podcast today. Wow, it’s gonna be a great season. We’ve been filming for a little bit. Fantastic,” Bure said in her Sept. 2 Instagram Story.
The actress then turned her attention to the latest Dancing with the Stars news. “Also Dancing with the Stars cast reveals today and pairs. What do you guys think? I think it’s a really good group of people. I’m super excited about this season. Man, I love this show,” she gushed.
Bure went on to share how closely she plans to follow the upcoming season. “So, I’m gonna try to be watching as much as possible and sharing my thoughts on Dancing with the Stars this season.”
She also mentioned her annual tradition with fellow actress and close friend Marilu Henner, who played her mother in the Hallmark movie franchise “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.”
“I’ll be texting Marilu Henner ’cause we do every year. We go back and fourth. It’s the best,” Bure said.
‘DWTS’ Season 35 Will Be Different From the Previous Season
Dancing with the Stars Season 35 has expanded its cast from 14 to 16 competing couples. Adele Zaikman has also joined the professional lineup after winning the inaugural spinoff series Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro.
In addition, a brand-new live after-show hosted by Season 34 champion Robert Irwin will air immediately following the Wednesday night episodes. Contestant Sarah Jane Nader is paired with new pro Hailey Bills, marking an all-female pairing. This is the third time the show has featured a same-sex pairing.
The celebrity and professional dancer pairings for Dancing with the Stars Season 35 feature 16 couples heading into the two-night premiere on Tuesday Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16. The cast includes:
