Danielle Fishel’s DWTS 2025 Performance on Episode 2
“Boy Meets World” alum Danielle Fishel and her partner Pasha Pashkov — nicknamed “Topasha” — performed a Cha Cha to Corona’s “Rhythm of the Night.”
Despite revealing she was battling a hamstring tear before the episode 1 premiere, Fishel hit the stage with determination, earning cheers from the audience.
Danielle Fishel and partner Pasha Pashkov earned 19/30.
How Danielle Fishel Pushed Through Injury on Premiere Night
The “Boy Meets World” alum shared on her “Pod Meets World” podcast that her injury flared up just before showtime. “Right before I went out for the live show, after having gone all out for five other runs for dress rehearsal and practice, my legs really started getting tight and I was like, ‘What am I going to do?’” she recalled. “Adrenaline just took over in the middle of the dance, and I was able to do it.”
Behind the Scenes: Training, Weight Loss & Recovery
Beyond the ballroom, Fishel revealed that she has already lost five pounds during rehearsals. She credits hours of training, a clean diet of lean protein and vegetables, and even joked about “Chuck E. Cheese pizza nights” with her kids, Adler and Keaton.
To heal her hamstring, she’s icing twice daily, taking Epsom salt baths, and relying on ibuprofen. “My legs are very toned, my arms are very toned, and we’re not even to the first live show yet,” she said. “I cannot imagine what I’m going to look like when this is done.”
