Ezra Sosa began his freshman season as a “Dancing With the Stars” pro on a rough note. After spending a few seasons as a troupe member, he was assigned his first celebrity partner for season 33.
Many DWTS fans felt shocked when convicted fraudster Anna Delvey was cast on the series. However, Ezra Sosa stepped up to the plate and did his best to guide her. He frequently defended her and took to social media to ask viewers to be kinder and give Anna a chance.
However, it seems Ezra and Anna had somewhat of a falling out after season 33 concluded. Now, Ezra has confirmed their feud is over.
Ezra Sosa & Anna Delvey Appeared to Hit a Rough Patch After Competing
In a 2025 interview with Queerty, Ezra Sosa described his working relationship with Anna Delvey. While she had plenty of baggage, he wanted their time on DWTS to be an escape from the real world.
“Being in a room with someone who’s a convicted felon, trying to teach them to dance while the whole world is watching and judging, was intense,” the Utah native told the publication. “There was so much outside noise trying to get into our space, but I recognized it early. I sat her down and said, ‘Whenever we walk into this room, we leave everything else behind. This is just about dance.'”
Ezra and Anna were eliminated first during their season. Ahead of season 34, the pro dancer adamantly claimed he did not want another convicted felon for a partner. Whatever happened between him and Anna seemed to ruffle some feathers.
“I’ll tell you who’s not on my mind, and it’s anyone with a convicted felony,” Ezra went on to tell Us Weekly. “We’re just gonna stray away from that. If my person next season is still a convicted felon, I think I have a niche.”
The Former Season 33 Partners Bury the Hatchet
Ezra Sosa didn’t share many details about his fallout with Anna Delvey. But fortunately, it seems like they’re in a much better place today.
“POV: Anna Delvey finally texted you back after getting unfollowed,” the 25-year-old shared on TikTok this weekend. He captioned the video, “WAR IS OVER” with a crying emoji and tagged Anna’s TikTok handle.
In the video, Ezra’s mouth flies open and he drops to his knees in relief. He then excitedly jumps around the room before showing his phone to the camera, revealing he received a text from his season 33 partner.
Fans can expect to see Ezra Sosa and the rest of the “Dancing With the Stars” cast when the series returns for season 35 this fall.
