Baldwin & Savchenko Earn Praise for Samba on TikTok Night
Baldwin admitted it was “really scary” since she loved dancing with Savchenko and didn’t want her journey to end.
The 41-year-old mother of seven, who had previously broken her hip, shared that rehearsals for the Samba were tough and pushed her limits. Still, she and Savchenko delivered a lively, crowd-pleasing routine to “Shake It to the Max (Fly)” that won over the judges.
Derek Hough praised Baldwin as “in a league of your own,” adding that the duo had “the most beautiful Samba rolls we’ve ever seen on this show.” Bruno Tonioli applauded her sharpness and rhythm but noted she lacked “some bounce.” Carrie Ann Inaba said, “Len would’ve loved that Samba,” while pointing out that her “musicality” was “off.”
The performance turned into a family affair, with Alec Baldwin, the couple’s seven children, and family friend Kris Jenner all cheering from the audience.
Score: 22/30.
Other highlights of the episode included the troupe dancing to “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion and “No Broke Boys” by Disco Lines & Tinashe, both choreographed to TikTok-inspired moves. D’Amelio also reunited with Mark Ballas for a special dance to “Assumptions” by Sam Gellaitry.
Eliminations Heat Up the Competition
Disney/Eric McCandlessThe week 3 episode came on the heels of the season’s first eliminations. Actor Corey Feldman and NBA All-Star Baron Davis were both sent home during week 2.
Feldman and his partner Jenna Johnson scored 15/30 for their cha cha to “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot. Davis and Britt Stewart scored 18/30 for their samba to “Return of the Mack” by Mark Morrison.
Meanwhile, Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles, wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, and stars of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, have emerged as front-runners, consistently topping the leaderboard.
Baldwin’s Kids Cheer Her On

After the week 2 episode, Baldwin told People that the night was especially emotional because all seven of her children were in the audience.
“My kids came up to me and they said that they almost cried that I was standing there, so it’s like, ‘Let’s not do that again,’ because it’ll make me cry,” Baldwin shared. “And it will make them cry, and then we’ll all be sad.”
She and Alec Baldwin are parents to Carmen, 12, María, 4, Ilaria, 2, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, and Eduardo, 5.
Baldwin Opens Up About Her DWTS Journey
(Photo by Mike Coppola/Getty Images)Baldwin, who danced in her younger years, previously told People that returning to the ballroom has been both rewarding and humbling.
“Some of it is like visiting a familiar friend when you’re older, and you’ve had a lot of children, and broken some bones,” she said. “But also, some of it is brand new. Gleb is asking me to dance on a much higher level than I ever danced.”
She added that Savchenko pushes her to perform with independence: “He makes me do the routine on my own. And it’s uncomfortable and embarrassing sometimes.”
Still, Baldwin insists she joined the show to challenge herself. “I didn’t sign up for this to be comfortable. I signed up for this to do hard things and to be brave. And Gleb is the perfect person to do that with.”
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
