Aniston and Curtis’ relationship began as friends, People reports. “They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work,” a source told People. “He’s very different from anyone she’s dated before.”

She also recently discussed her relationship in an interview with Elle for their December 2025/January 2026 issue. “He’s quite extraordinary,” she said of Curtis.
