Danielle Fishel is joining the cast of “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34! This was one of the better-kept secrets going into the season because many of the other cast members had been predicted. For many, this is also one of the most exciting castings because Fishel was a ‘90s icon with her as Topanga Lawrence on the sitcom “Boy Meets World.”
For her DWTS journey, Fishel has been paired with professional dancer Pasha Pashkov. But how are the pair finding it to work together?

Pashkov gave a glimpse into his working relationship with Fishel when he posted a photo of them in their bright pink dancing outfits. These are the outfits they used for the promotional images, and a video shared by the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account on September 3 also shows them wearing these outfits when they unveiled all the celebrity competitors.
“The secret’s out! We’re officially partners on this season of Dancing With the Stars,” Pashkov wrote on Instagram on September 3. “From the time we found out to now, we’ve been having just the absolute best time together. Cannot wait to see what this journey has in store for us and to share it with you all! Eeeeeek.” So, there you have it, they are having the “absolute best time.”
Celebrities and fans reacted to the news. Actress Kat Dennings wrote, “DANIELLE!!!!!!!!!! I am dying. Officially glued to this journey.” DWTS alum and athlete Stephen Nedoroscik wrote, “GOOO PASHHHH!!!”

Pashkov and Fishel have also asked fans for help with a team name, and some of the top suggestions include Team TOPASHA! and Team Girl Meets Ballroom!
Fishel posted a video on Instagram on September 3, informing fans of her excitement about the inclusion in the ABC dance competition but also revealing that Pashkov is the “best teacher.”
“Finally get to share with the world the secret I’ve been keeping for months! And I have the honor of dancing with @pashapashkov who is the BEST teacher and an amazing person,” she wrote in the caption. “Can’t wait to (hopefully) light it up on the dance floor.”
This team is already proving to be a fan favorite, and the comments reflect this. “Yay!!!! Will definitely be watching,” a comment reads. “What?!?!?! NO WAY! Our family loves to watch DWTS this will be the best one yet!” another fan shared.
A third commenter wrote, “WHAT! I’ve never watched DWTS, but I guess I’m starting.”
