Everyone is loving “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34, and the pool of talent this season is incredible.
Based on the performances, judges’ scores, and the contestants’ overall popularity, there are some clear frontrunners for the win this season. However, it wouldn’t be the first time there was a surprising win if that is the direction the show takes. Despite not being the strongest dancer, Andy Richter remains in the competition week after week because of his determination and wonderful personality.
There are some favorites and highly talented dancers, including Whitney Leavitt, Dylan Efron, Alix Earle, and Jordan Chiles. However, the winner prediction for Season 34 so far is none other than the brilliant and charismatic Robert Irwin.
Why Is Robert Irwin the Frontrunner?
Irwin has a great story, along with a ton of personality and charisma. Fans are entirely behind him. If he wins, he will also be following in the footsteps of his sister, Bindi Irwin. Bindi competed on Season 21 alongside professional dance partner Derek Hough. They won the Mirrorball Trophy that season.
Last week, Robert proved just how talented he is on the ballroom dance floor and how he can deliver such incredible emotion with his performance. Week 5 was Dedication Night, and he dedicated his routine to his mom, Terri Irwin. It was a display of love, resilience, and strength, and shone a light on Robert and Terri’s story, after she raised him and his sister on her own following the tragic death of her husband, Steve Irwin.
The performance was rated 35 out of 40. It wasn’t the highest score from the judges on the night (that went to Dylan Efron), but there wasn’t a dry eye in the entire studio. Professional dancer turned Season 34 judge Derek Hough was moved to tears, and so were fans. Social media was flooded with praise for Robert and his professional partner Witney Carson, who is also incredible and has delivered challenging and beautiful choreography week after week.

Irwin has a lot of supporters rooting for him. Their support is evident every time something is posted on social media. When the wildlife conservationist posts on his Instagram account, his posts are flooded with likes and supportive messages. And when the official “Dancing with the Stars” account posts anything, you can always see Irwin’s name in the comments.
Ahead of Wicked Night, a video of all the couples was shared on the “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account. Irwin’s fans showed their support in the comments. “I’m so happy Robert got dancing through life, it fits him so well,” a comment reads. “Let’s goooo! #TeamirWINit remember to VOTE VOTE VOTE for Robert using BOTH voting methods,” another excited fan shared.
Other reactions include, “I couldn’t be happier about Robert doing Dancing Through Life,” “#teamirwinit all the way!!,” and “Let’s go Robert and Whitney!”
