After 10 absolutely chaotic, glitter-soaked weeks, “Dancing with the Stars” is officially heading into finale night. (Yep, you read that right; we made it.)
If it seems like this season sprinted by faster than a jive on caffeine… we feel you. But now five couples are gearing up for one last shot at the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. And honestly? We’re here for every dramatic reveal, every perfectly timed dip, and every “wait, did they just do that?!” moment.
The finale airs tomorrow night (Tuesday, November 25, 2025) and we have all the details you need to know about what is sure to be an epic conclusion to this season.
What Is the Finale’s Theme?
If you’ve been watching all season, you already know the theme nights have been doing some heavy lifting: One-Hit Wonders Night gave us nostalgic chaos, the show’s 20th Birthday Party Night delivered pure fan-service energy, and “Wicked” night basically turned the ballroom into a full musical.
But for the finale? It gets serious. No theme. No excuses. Just straight-up dancing for the win.
Who’s Still Fighting for That Mirrorball?
This final lineup is honestly one of the most fun mixes in years. Every couple brings something different, and let’s be real; that’s what makes this finale feel so wide open.
- Alix Earle & Val Chmerkovskiy
- Robert Irwin & Whitney Carson
- Elaine Hendrix & Alan Bersten
- Dylan Efron & Daniella Karagach
- Jordan Chiles & Ezra Sosa
Move over predictable finales; this group came to win. Alix has been leveling up every single week. Robert’s charm has basically become a character on its own. Dylan feels like the dark horse the judges didn’t see coming. Elaine is giving Broadway auntie energy in the best way. And Jordan? It seems like she was built in a lab specifically for dance competitions. A stacked lineup is an understatement.
DisneyWhat’s Happening on Finale Night?
According to an ABC press release, this year’s finale has three rounds. And all of them are built for big reality TV moments.
- Judges’ Choice: The judges will pick a dance for each couple, usually something they want to see improved or perfected. This is the “full circle” round. The glow-up moment we’ve all been waiting for.
- Instant Dance: Here’s where things go off-script. The couples get given a surprise style and only minutes (literal minutes) to whip something together. It’s chaos, but the fun kind. The kind where you yell at your screen even though it helps no one.
- Freestyle: The main event. No rules. No required steps. Just pure finale energy with big music, big visuals, and big “this is why we deserve to win” choreography. Freestyles are where legends are made; or at least where the fan votes start flying.
