DWTS Fans Wonder if There Will Be a Double Elimination Tonight

The talent on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34 is incredible, and every week is becoming more nail-biting than the next. Fans were shocked when there was no elimination after Dedication Night in Week 5. Does that mean there will be a double elimination in Week 6?

Double Elimination or No Double Elimination?

As we eagerly await Wicked Night on Tuesday, October 21, fans are excited but also nervous that two of their favorite contestants could be going home. At this stage of the competition, there are so many worthy competitors, and those who are not the strongest dancers have so much heart and personality that they make up for the lack of technical ability.

We don’t want to see anyone go home, but someone has to. Fans have been questioning if it will be two dancers. On October 21, the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account posted a video of highlights from the show to generate hype around Wicked Night. Fans have flooded the comments with their thoughts. However, there are also messages, like this one from one concerned and confused fan: “IM SO EXCITED. also real question since there was no elimination last week is it a double elimination this week or no?”

This comment is not isolated, and many have been asking the same thing over the last week. The answer? Your guess is as good as ours. No one knows what the ABC dance competition will throw at us this week. There is a possibility of a double elimination, but that has not been confirmed or denied.

What Can the Audience Expect?

We may not have the answer to what fans can expect, but we do know that this evening is going to be magical! The costumes, the energy, the performances, there is so much work that’s gone into this week!

We will get to see Whitney Leavitt and pro partner Mark Ballas perform a Quickstep to “Popular” by Ariana Grande. And Robert Irwin and Witney Carson will perform a Jazz to “Dancing Through Life” by Jonathan Bailey.

Last week, Dylan Efron scored the top marks with an impressive 36 out of 40. We expect him to be safe and one of the top competitors this evening, too! He and pro dancer Daniella Karagach will perform a Rumba to “I’m Not That Girl” by Cynthia Erivo.

These are just three of the incredible performances fans will have to look forward to, and the predicted top scores for the night
