Did Val Chmerkovskiy win? The answer is…NO!!! Val had to compete in the first Blind Elimination Challenge of the night, which saw him lose to Manila, and he was eliminated from the competition!

Who Is Val Chmerkovskiy?
Val Chmerkovskiy is best known as one of the most successful and recognizable pros in “Dancing With the Stars” history. The Ukrainian-born dancer joined the ABC competition series in season 13 and went on to win the Mirrorball Trophy three times and came close to a fourth win in season 34 with his partner Alix Earle.
He’s also half of one of TV’s most famous dance families, alongside brother Maks Chmerkovskiy, and frequently shares glimpses of his personal life with fans, including his marriage to fellow “DWTS” pro Jenna Johnson.
While Val is known for discipline and precision on the dance floor, cooking has never been part of his public skill set, which made his casting on “Worst Cooks in America” season 30 very entertaining.
Val Chmerkovskiy’s Journey on ‘Worst Cooks in America’
On “Worst Cooks in America” season 30, Val entered the kitchen with confidence in himself, but not necessarily in his cooking abilities. In the early episodes, we saw Val struggle with basic techniques. This includes knife skills and putting the lid on the blender before turning it on!
As the season went on, he started to show some steady improvement. He was learning from his mistakes, and it was fun to see him in the kitchen. Of course, his competitive nature kicked in during the challenges.
He may not have always been the strongest cook in the room. However, he proved he could adapt under pressure and take criticism seriously. It all came down to these final challenges. Whether the judges would select him to compete in the final challenge. Then, if they would select him as the winner.
