Hallmark just gave mystery fans another reason to spend some time streaming. Their platform, Hallmark+, has added an Agatha Christie collection featuring classic TV movies based on some of the legendary author’s mysteries. The news was shared by the Hallmark+ Instagram account on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with three movies already available to watch.
Yep, this is definitely a little different from the typical Hallmark+ mystery lineup, but it also makes a lot of sense. These aren’t Hallmark originals, but they fit right in with the growing collection of mystery movies. And there’s more coming, too.
Three Agatha Christie Movies Are Already Streaming
Hallmark+ describes the collection as a group of Agatha Christie classics featuring her legendary detectives, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, as they tackle mysteries filled with twists and turns.
The first three movies are now available on the platform.
“The Alphabet Murders” (1966)
“Agatha Christie’s redoubtable Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, confronts murder and mayhem when a killer murders in alphabetical order…beginning with the initials A.A. and slashing blithely towards Z.Z.”
“Murder Is Easy” (1982)
“In Agatha Christie’s Murder is Easy, an older lady tells a vacationer that she is on her way to report the name of the murderer. However, when she becomes a victim of a hit-and-run, the vactioner is swept into a deadly mystery.”
“A Caribbean Mystery” (1983)
“When Agatha Christie’s beloved amateur sleuth Miss Jane Marple arrives at a resort for a vacation, she stumbles on a complex web of cold-blooded murders. She races against the clock to prevent a murderer from killing…again.”
Honestly, having both Poirot and Miss Marple represented in the initial three movies is a pretty great way for Hallmark+ to kick off this collection.
Six More Classic Agatha Christie Mysteries Are Coming
GettyIf three Agatha Christie movies aren’t enough, don’t worry. Hallmark+ is continuing to add to the collection throughout September with even more movies based on the author’s books.
Three more movies are expected to arrive on Tuesday, September 8, 2026:
“Sparkling Cyanide” (1983)

“Murder in Three Acts” (1986)

“The Man in the Brown Suit” (1989)
“In Agatha Christie’s The Man in the Brown Suit, deceit and death destroy the vacation of an American tourist who witnesses a murder and becomes entangled in a web of secrets while a mysterious man repeatedly saves her life.”
That brings the collection to nine Agatha Christie movies in total.
These Movies Are a Different Kind of Mystery For Hallmark
GettyLet’s be real, longtime Hallmark fans may recognize that these movies don’t have the same feel as a modern Hallmark mystery. They were made decades ago, and several were produced as television movies involving Warner Bros. in the 1980s.
But that’s also what makes this addition interesting.
Hallmark+ already has plenty of familiar cozy mystery franchises, so adding older Agatha Christie adaptations gives subscribers something different to watch while still staying within the mystery genre.
And yep, there is something especially fun about having classic versions of Poirot and Miss Marple sitting alongside the newer mysteries available on the streaming service.
It seems like Hallmark+ is continuing to expand beyond simply offering Hallmark’s own movies and series, and this collection is a pretty good example of that. It also gives Agatha Christie fans a chance to revisit some older adaptations or discover them for the first time.
Honestly, a classic mystery marathon sounds like a pretty good way to spend an afternoon or evening, especially with nine movies eventually making up the collection.
It seems like Hallmark+ subscribers have plenty of mysteries to solve this month.
