Valentine’s Day is almost here, and fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Hallmark‘s annual “Loveuary” movie lineup, a tradition that has been going since 2015.
This month-long programming event in February features the premiere of four new, original movies every Saturday night on the Hallmark Channel, designed to celebrate love in all its forms. This year, the 2026 lineup features “The Way to You,” “The Stars Between Us,” “Romance at Hope Ranch,” and “Because of Cupid.”
Fans got an early Valentine’s Day treat when actress Amy Groening offered a sneak peek at “Because of Cupid” in her newest social media post that teases plenty of adorable moments ahead.

Groening wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, “Hold onto your valentines because @evanroderick and I are bringing you some 💘💘. #BecauseOfCupid premieres February 14th 8/7c on @hallmarkchannel & streaming next day on @hallmarkplus. Meet the Cast of ‘Because of Cupid’
“Because of Cupid” stars Groening and Evan Roderick as best friends Naomi and Marcus who participate in a Valentine’s Day mocktail competition, but things go awry when Cupid interferes with a love potion that affects Marcus and several of their friends.
According her her Hallmark bio, Groening has appeared in over 10 Hallmark films, including “‘Twas the Date Before Christmas,” “Miracle in Bethlehem, PA,” “Project Christmas Wish,” “The Secret Ingredient,” and “The Santa Summit.” Her other notable roles include the NBC Universal pilot “Horizon,” produced by Gale Anne Hurd of “The Walking Dead,” a recurring role on CW’s “Reign,” and a lead role in CW’s comedy series “Backpackers.”
According to his Hallmark bio, Roderick was most recently seen in “A Tale of Two Christmases” and “Autumn in the City” for Hallmark Channel. He also recently starred in “Secrets of a Marine’s Wife” and “V.C. Andrews’ Landry Family.” Previously, he starred in the leading role in Netflix’s “Spinning Out” opposite Kaya Scodelario and January Jones, a series that follows Kat Baker (Scodelario) an up-and-coming elite figure skater who teams up with talented pair skater and resident bad boy Justin Davis (Roderick) after an injury ends her solo career.
Roderick has also made appearances on a number of popular series including Netflix’s “Project MC2” and ABC’s “When We Rise.” More recently, on The CW’s hit show “Arrow,” he played Nick Anastasia.
