Andrew Walker Has Kissed Too Many Actresses to Remember His 1st Kissing Scene!

A native of Montreal, Canada, Walker has two young sons with his wife, Cassandra Troy, who moved with him to Los Angeles in 2006. After more than a decade with Hallmark, Walker has become a perennial favorite with fans, including starring in two of the network’s top Christmas movies of 2025 — “The Reluctant Royal,” which he developed and co-produced, and “She’s Making a List” co-starring Lacey Chabert.

Walker, 46, has been in the industry for so long — and in so many rom-coms at this point — that he hilariously could not remember his first kissing scene when asked by EntertainmentNow.

Wracking his brain for a distant memory of it, he laughed, “I’ve been (acting) since I was around 14 years old, so I don’t really remember my first person or on-screen kiss. I do remember when I kissed my wife the first time, though!”

Andrew Walker Says His Funniest & Messiest Onscreen Kiss Was With Nikki DeLoach

In addition to remembering his first kiss with his real-life wife, Walker also distinctly recalls his first onscreen kiss with his “work wife,” Hallmark star Nikki DeLoach. The duo has appeared in many movies together, starting with 2016’s “A Dream of Christmas.”

Noting that he and DeLoach realized almost instantly during filming that they had a unique connection, he told EntertainmentNow, “That was a really special movie, and at the end of the movie was a really beautiful moment. It was like, ‘You know, her and I have great chemistry.'”

Fast forward a few years to their “Curious Caterer” mystery franchise and Walker says 2024’s “Foiled Plans” movie, filmed in a medieval castle, resulted in their funniest kissing scene.

Laughing, he told EntertainmentNow, “We were in the freezing cold of Victoria — Vancouver Island in Victoria — and we both had runny noses. And it was not pretty! We both blamed each other for, of course, dripping on each other’s cheek and stuff. Total mess. But look, we’re eight movies in here. We’re beyond embarrassment, right?”

Kissing Rachel Boston in ‘Adventures in Love & Birding’ Required Extra Planning, Andrew Walker Says

In 2025’s “Adventures in Love & Birding,” Walker said he and co-star Rachel Boston had to be very intentional about the different kissing scenes in the movie. At first, they’re a duo pretending to be in love, trying to convince others that they’re a couple. But when they actually fall for each other in the movie, they needed the kiss to feel genuinely “hot,” he told EntertainmentNow.

That wasn’t the easiest thing to do, Walker said, “because we shoot the scripts out of order, not chronologically.”

“So we were like, ‘Okay, at this point of the story, where are we and how are we?'” he recalled. “Like, ‘How much are we hesitating to go in for it? Are you driving this (kiss) or am I driving this? What is happening here?'”

In addition to assessing how their characters were feeling about each other, Walker said there were also filming considerations, as is the case with most shoots.

“People think we just go in for a kiss,” Walker explained, “but I’m trying to get out of her light, I have to figure out whether I’m going to the right or the left depending on where the camera is. All these things. Sometimes we’d throw caution to the wind, but then immediately after, we were always like, ‘Was that too fast? Was that too slow? Should we go faster?'”

Watch Andrew Walker’s Most Unexpected Kiss of 2025

One Andrew Walker kiss we won’t soon forget was also his most unexpected. At the Hallmark Christmas Experience in late November 2025, he and his “Three Wisest Men” co-star Paul Campbell had a hilarious moment while appearing on the “Hallmark Hunks” panel during the event’s first weekend.

When actress Taylor Cole, who was serving as panel host, read aloud an audience member’s request that the hunks share their best “I’m about to kiss you face,” longtime buddies Walker and Campbell jumped out of their seats to demonstrate. To the audience’s surprise and delight, Walker gave Campbell a big smooch on the spot, as the above video shows.

Laughing about it later, Walker told EntertainmentNow, “Yep, I got Paul on the lips. I don’t think he thought that I was really gonna go in for it! Still glad I did!”
