If you haven’t been keeping count, Andrew Walker has starred in over 30 original Hallmark movies. That includes “Kentucky Roses” (2026) alongside Odette Annable, “She’s Making a List” (2025) with Lacey Chabert and “Three Wise Men and a Baby” (2022) as well as “Three Wiser Men and a Boy” (2024) with Tyler Hynes and Paul Campbell.
Now, Walker is busy making a new Hallmark project and has given fans a fun behind-the-scenes look at what he’s working on.

In an Instagram post that Walker shared on May 21, he gave his social media followers a look at his latest project. Along with taking a video in his trailer and spending time with his script, the actor can be seen walking around an outdoor set. Did you spot the old truck and faux snow?
Of course, you surely can’t ignore the fact that Walker happens to be wearing a Montreal Canadiens jersey.
In the caption of the post, he wrote, “New job @hallmarkchannel. Game 1 of the Eastern conference final @canadiensmtl. Life couldn’t be better. 💙🤍❤️”
He then added, “Can anyone guess who my new costar is…. 🤔 👇”
His followers certainly had plenty of guesses!
One person wrote, “😍 Yesss! I get the feeling that maybe Taylor Cole could be your costar? 😊🤭”
“I’m guessing, can it be the beautiful and very talented Erin Cahill?” another fan guessed before adding, “I’m sure whomever it is, it will be another GEM! You are the BEST 👑❤️”
A third follower added, “Hopefully Mallory Jansen 🤞”
“Andrew you look great in that hockey jersey. As for your new-costar is it Taylor Cole or Nikki DeLoach??? Inquiring minds would like to know!! 🔥🔥❤️🤍💙,” came from another social media user.
Even fellow Hallmark actor Robert Buckley left a comment, saying, “I auditioned for your love interest but still haven’t heard anything 🤞🏻”
Andrew Has Appeared as a Hockey Player on Screen
When it comes to Walker’s Montreal Canadiens jersey, it makes sense that he cheers for that particular team considering the fact that he was born in Montreal and appears to be an avid hockey fan.
In fact, along with attending games when he’s back home, Walker also took on the role of a former player in 2024’s “Jingle Bell Run.” Also starring Ashley Williams, the story focuses on Avery, “an unadventurous schoolteacher whose sister secretly signs her up for The Great Holiday Dash, a Christmas-themed reality competition show where she’s paired with former hockey player Wes,” per Hallmark.
Southern Living noted that “for the veteran actor, landing the role of a professional hockey player in a way, fulfilled a life-long dream. As a Canadian, he joked you’re basically born with a hockey stick in your hand and the baby onesie of the team for the city where you were born.”
That’s why, when it came to playing a former NHL star, Walker told Southern Living, “[I]t’s the dream that I never got to pursue before.”
