Ben Hollingsworth Reveals His Hope for Brady & Brie in ‘Virgin River’ Season 8

Warning: this article contains spoilers from “Virgin River” Season 7.

Hallmark fan favorite Ben Hollingsworth is dishing about his “Virgin River” alter ego, Brady, and the love of his life, Brie (Zibby Allen). The couple finally got back together during Season 7, only to have a major cliffhanger put their future in jeopardy.

Ben Hollingsworth’s Wish For Brady and Brie

During an interview with Decider, the fact that Brady was in a motorcycle accident was brought up. Hollingsworth was asked about his hopes for Brady and Brie in Season 8 of the Netflix show if Brady survives the crash.

“If he’s back in Season 8, it would be great to see him and Brie have some great sort of moment in their life that they could enjoy for a minute,” he expressed.

The newly reunited couple had a hot second of happiness before the accident. Hollingworth isn’t totally sure his alter ego can be happy because trouble always seems to find Brady, no matter how hard he tries to do the right thing.

“He’s just one of those people who just can’t have it,” Hollingsworth stated, adding, “I think it would be really fun just to see them have like this moment, but I don’t know if the audience is ever gonna get that.”

While Brady’s future is up in the air, the fate of two other characters has already been revealed. Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley and Mike (Marco Grazzini) will not be part of the “Virgin River” Season 8.

‘Virgin River’ Star Zibby Allen Weighs In on Brie and Brady’s Future

The Hallmark hunk isn’t the only one with hopes for happiness for Brie and Brady.

Allen chatted with Us Weekly about all things “Virgin River” and her thoughts on the upcoming Season 8, which is slated to begin filming soon. The actress addressed her wish for her alter ego, who finally, after many seasons, followed her heart to her true love Brady, only to have him get in a motorcycle accident.

“Things never seem to go tonally right with Brady. I am a bit worried,” she revealed regarding the jaw-dropping cliffhanger.

Like Hollingsworth, Allen wants Brie and Brady to have a moment of happiness and more. She’s rooting for the couple, as are so many “Virgin River” fans.

“I want them to have a moment, you know, just a moment. Like longer than just a moment cause they had one moment on the motorcycle before his accident. I wanna give them a chance,” she spilled to the outlet.

All seasons of “Virgin River” are streaming on Netflix.
