Brennan Elliott is opening up to fans about a difficult chapter in his life, and his latest message is one of gratitude and hope.
After recently returning to Hallmark with “A Castle of Our Own” following the heartbreaking loss of his wife last year, Elliott has been navigating an incredibly challenging period both personally and professionally. Now, he’s sharing what that journey has taught him.
The former “Strong Medicine” star took to social media to once again warn fans about scammers impersonating him online, but his follow-up message struck a much more heartfelt tone. He thanked the fans who have helped report imposters and, while reflecting on the last 16 months, said he has emerged with a greater sense of clarity about who he is and the life he wants.
The actor also offered a hopeful tease about what’s next for him.
Elliott Thanks Fans for Their Continued Support Following His Return
“I feel blessed today and impelled to post a small something to connect to you fans, for all the kind support from y’all who are reporting all these imposters!” Elliott wrote in the caption of his Sept. 5 Instagram post. This follows his Instagram post from the previous day, where he warned fans about online scammers impersonating him.
“THANKYOU.!! I too have reported so many it’s exhausting!” He wrote. “Always know I will always come from love and an open heart. Asking to chat,use,ask for money is something I could and would never do! Today is a day of appreciation.”
The actor continued, “As hard as the last 16 months have been personally and professionally I wouldn’t have grown to be this honest and find my power of who I am as a man, and what I want in every area in my life as I do now!”
“They say struggle and pain builds character and that is so correct!” Elliott added. “I appreciate all you fans who clamor for me to be on your tv and in the theatres every day and that is happening!”
Elliott went on to give fans a hint of what may be next for him: “Trust me! You’ll be seeing me very soon again!”
“I wish all of you a peaceful blessed holiday and again in regards to these imposters and manipulative evil people everywhere. Stand your ground! Know your worth! And don’t associate with the fake. Be YOU and surround yourself with good people. Not these damaged fake sick imposters! Love ❤️,” Elliott concluded.

Elliott Reflects on the Last Year Ahead of ‘A Castle of Our Own’ Premiere
Elliott’s wife, Camilla Row, passed away in March 2025 following a courageous nine-year journey with stage 4 gastric cancer.
The actor shared the news of her passing in an emotional Instagram post from March 22, 2025 where he wrote, “It is with a soul crushing devastated heart that my beloved wife #cami passed away at 5:28 this morning. Our babies and I lost our rock, a person who not only was the love of my life,my soulmate,my best friend and lover but the toughest strongest fearless person I have ever met in my life and the greatest mother to her babies.”
Elliott and Row share two children: a son, Liam, and a daughter, Luna.
Prior to the premiere of “A Castle of Our Own” on June 27, Elliott shared a heartfelt message to his fans.
“Returning to set for A Castle of Our Own wasn’t just about making another movie, it was about rediscovering a part of myself I wasn’t sure I’d ever find again,” Elliott wrote in the caption of his June 27 Instagram post following an interview he did with PEOPLE.
He reflected on what the last year has taught him, which is that “grief doesn’t disappear, it simply becomes part of who you are.”
“But I’ve also learned that healing isn’t about leaving someone behind,” Elliott added. “It’s about finding the courage to laugh again, to feel connected again, and to embrace joy without guilt. The love and memories never leave us, they walk beside us, making us stronger, more compassionate, and, for me, a more present actor and storyteller.”
Elliott concluded, “Thank you, as always, for your incredible support. It means more than you’ll ever know.”
