Brooke Shields is turning heads on the red carpet with an edgy leather look.
The Hallmark actress, best known for her roles as Charlotte Thornton on the beloved series When Calls the Heart and as Abby Knight in the Flower Shop Mystery movie series, made a striking entrance at AMC Networks’ (now AMC Global Media) annual upfront presentation on April 29 at Spring Studios in New York City. The star-studded event is part of the annual television “upfront” season, which is when media companies present their upcoming shows and franchises. On Wednesday, the cable network and its AMC+ streaming platform previewed their upcoming 2026-27 slate, including a new cozy murder-mystery series that Shields is leading.
She will be taking on the starring role and executive producer position for the series You’re Killing Me (the series’ former working title was Allie & Andi) which will be coming out on Acorn TV in May 2026. She attended the event alongside other AMC celebrities, such as Alexandra Daddario from The Mayfair Witches, Dennis Quaid, who will star in Thunder Road, Sam Reid, who will be headlining the third season of Interview With a Vampire (now The Vampire Lestat), Jeffrey Dean Morgan and other Walking Dead favorites.

Shields stepped onto the red carpet in a structured leather ensemble. She opted for a structured, cape-style top paired with a matching midi skirt, delivering a chic, polished look. Her pointed-toe heels and bold red clutch was a perfect contrast to the all-black outfit.
