Two fan-favorite Hallmark Channel alums recently reconnected, and everyone is loving it. Chad Michael Murray and Bryan Greenberg had a sweet reunion when they both attended an event and spent some time catching up.
The Hallmark & ‘One Tree Hill’ Pals Enjoyed Reconnecting
Fans may remember that Murray starred in several Hallmark movies over the years, including “Sand Dollar Cove,” which premiered in 2021. Greenberg appeared on Hallmark more recently, starring in the 2023 movie, “Round and Round.”
Greenberg and Murray attended the opening event for the Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos on May 16, according to Just Jared.
While both Murray and Greenberg have some Hallmark projects in their past, fans love that they caught up with one another because they also starred on the iconic series “One Tree Hill.”
Murray played Lucas Scott, one of the show’s main characters. Greenberg had a recurring role during the first three seasons, playing Jake Jagielski, one of Lucas’ basketball teammates.
Both Hallmark alums had their wives with them at the event in Turks and Caicos. Murray is married to “Disturbia” alum Sarah Roemer. Greenberg is married to “Everyone Is Doing Great” star Jamie Chung.
On May 20, Greenberg shared the photo showing him with Murray at the resort on Instagram. He included a couple of additional highlights from his trip and wrote, “What a weekend with old friends and family.”
Everybody’s Priority Was to Hit the Ocean Upon Arrival
Murray and Greenberg weren’t the only Hallmark alums at the resort’s opening events in Turks and Caicos. “Kentucky Roses” star Odette Annable was also there with her husband, “Brothers and Sisters” alum Dave Annable.
The Annables both posted highlights of the trip on their respective Instagram pages, and they had a wonderful trip. It appeared that each of the Hallmark alums brought their kids along, as well, and everybody had a blast.
Fans flooded the comment sections of everybody’s Instagram posts with sweet notes.
“They both look so good!! Jake and Lucas,” one fan wrote on a Just Jared Instagram post showing Greenberg and Murray together.
On an Instagram post from Roemer, one comment read, “Wow, what a stunning view. Great vacation for the greatest people.”
A fan wrote on Greenberg’s post, “So Lucas & Jake are good friends – good to see!”
Another added, “Jake + Lucas selfie in 2026 is iconic.”
Chung declared the trip was a “10 out of 10 family holiday” in the caption of one Instagram post she shared.
In an Instagram video shared by the resort from the “pink carpet,” Murray was asked what his favorite thing to do was as soon as he got to the resort. He admitted that he can take a dip in the pool at home, but he wants to get in the ocean when he’s in a place like Turks and Caicos.
The Amables agreed that getting straight to the ocean was their top priority, too.
