Hallmark Helps Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe Mark Her Final Chemo Infusion With Incredible Gift

After months of fighting stage three breast cancer, undergoing two different types of chemotherapy infusions, Hallmark star Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe was understandably choked up as she rang the bell at her cancer center, marking the end of her chemo treatments on January 27, 2026.

In an Instagram Story Lowe shared, a kindness army of Hallmark staffers filed into her cancer center, all carrying presents for the nurses who cared for her. The “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” star and rom-com director also revealed that Hallmark generously purchased a new victory bell for the center after she informed Hallmark Media EVP and Communications Chief Annie Howell that the existing one had broken.

Crystal Lowe Was the 1st to Ring New Bell From Hallmark Media

Lowe, who first shared her diagnosis with fans on October 10, 2025, shared a video after her final chemo infusion, calling the Hallmark team “incredible” for coming to cheer her on. She also celebrated being the first person at her cancer center to ring the new bell, thrilled that it will now give patients “something to look forward to.” She also told fans that the Hallmark team had made everything “brighter in my life through this.”

A photo Lowe shared of the shiny gold bell revealed that the wall plaque it’s attached to says, “Ring this bell, three times well, to celebrate this day. This course is run, my treatment done, and I am on my way.”

Beneath those inspiring words, it also says, “This bell is dedicated with hope and love on behalf of Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe and Hallmark Media. January 2026.”

After ringing the bell, as seen in another video she shared in her Stories, Lowe got choked up as she looked around at everyone applauding and exclaimed, “We did it! We did it.”

“Also, I know it’s all new nurses here,” Lowe added, “but thank you guys for all being here. I can’t tell you how important your work is, especially at a time like this when people are so desperately in need of help. And you guys are here, helping every one of us.”

Lowe said she hadn’t planned to make a speech, but noted that “it only happens hopefully once, hopefully I don’t have to come back again. So if you’re a patient in here, I love you, and I see you, and I can’t wait for you to ring this damn boujie bell! Sponsored by Hallmark, the best company in the world. I hope if you’re watching a movie tonight, you’re watching a Hallmark movie.”

Fans Celebrate Crystal Lowe’s Huge Milestone Before Next Step in Her Cancer Fight

Fans flooded Lowe’s post, celebrating her reaching the first important milestone in her cancer fight. One person wrote, “So happy for you, crying , you are wonderful & blessed to work for such a beautiful caring company! Awesome job Hallmark!”

Another commented, “You’re beautiful, Crystal. You shine! Thanks for sharing your story, your voice.”

Someone else chimed in, “Soooo happy…finally the last one!!! And with a special bell to ring! Love and hugs and prayers beautiful woman.”

Lowe vulnerably admitted before her last infusion that she was nervous to get too excited about it being her last chemo treatment, given the fear of recurrence — a reality that many patients with advanced or certain types of breast cancer must face.

Lowe will now have several weeks to rest and recover from the side effects of chemo before undergoing a double mastectomy on February 19, she shared in a previous post. She’ll have expanders placed in her chest to slowly stretch her skin, and then undergo another reconstruction surgery when she receives implants. Lowe has also previously shared that she’ll undergo radiation following surgery.
