Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum are delivering pure comedy while they wait for the arrival of their first baby, due any day now. On March 24, 2026, the real-life Hallmark couple filmed a funny and clever video from the grocery store, where they found a resting spot for Krakow’s bare baby bump right in the middle of the produce section.
In the video posted to social media, Rosenbaum slowly filmed a display of cantaloupes, and then panned over to a section of watermelons. Mixed in with the melons, he hilariously revealed Krakow’s bare belly, resting on the produce shelf with a watermelon on either side. Rosenbaum wrote in the caption, “It’s melon season!”

With her curly hair sweetly pulled back and her t-shirt pulled up above her belly to reveal that the bun in the oven is now bigger than a watermelon, Krakow’s expression said it all — a mixture of disbelief, awe, and maybe some back pain. The clever background music, Harry Style’s “Watermelon Sugar,” amped up the cute factor.
Fans and friends swooned over the video, with countless people noting how much they’ve loved how Krakow and Rosenbaum have documented her growing baby bump, from a recent red carpet event to oceanside pregnancy pics together.

Erin Krakow Calls Her Pregnancy an ‘Incredible Journey’
Krakow and Rosenbaum’s grocery store antics came days after the couple attended an LA celebration of WCTH’s season 13 finale and the premiere of a prequel series, “Hope Valley: 1874.” Stars from both shows participated in a panel discussion, during which Krakow was asked what she’s most excited about as she awaits her baby’s arrival.
“So many things,” Krakow beamed, leaning back to look at Rosenbaum behind her. “It’s been really very special. But I think the main thing is just building a family with my husband … it’s been really an incredible journey.”
“I have to give it up to Hallmark and our production team,” she added. “They’ve been so supportive. You know, (WCTH executive producer) Brad Krevoy … he’s been like, ‘You’ve gotta have babies’ for years and years and years!”
When Rosenbaum was handed the mic for his insights, he said, “You know, it’s incredibly exciting. I think there’s also, like, nervousness, overwhelm. This is our first time, but overall, I honestly just feel — maybe I’ll live to regret saying this — but I feel pretty confident.”
The crowd burst into laughter, and Rosenbaum said, “Yeah, all the parents in the room are laughing! But it really is because of Erin. I just feel like with her, we just can do anything together. It feels good. I’m really, really excited.”
Though Rosenbaum and Krakow haven’t revealed their exact due date, they’ve dropped hints that their baby is due in early April.
