Ben Rosenbaum’s time on “When Calls the Heart” has been shared with many actors who have come and gone. From Daniel Lissing (Jack Thornton) to Lori Loughlin (Abigail Stanton) and more, Rosenbaum has been there for it all since season 1!
Although some former “WCTH” co-stars remain out of the storyline, one name in particular made their comeback during this season, leading Rosenbaum to celebrate in their return by sharing a loving throwback photo alongside his fellow “WCTH” colleague.
Ben Rosenbaum’s 10-Year Throwback Photo with Brooke Shields
After appearing in season 13, episode 9, Rosenbaum posted two Instagram photos of himself alongside Brooke Shields, who plays Charlotte Thronton, LJ’s grandmother. He set the post to the tune of the hit EDM song “#Selfie” by Party Tyme.
Both images feature Rosenbaum and Shields on the set of “WCTH” — taken 10 years apart. The first snapshot was from during season 13, while the second photo was taken just a couple of years after the start of the Hallmark Channel classic in 2014.
“It’s always fun meeting a fan, and apparently this same woman asked me for a selfie together 10 years ago too! I guess she really likes Hickam! 😜🤳,” he captioned the sweet throwback.
“Seriously though we were so excited to have @brookeshields back in Hope Valley with us!” he continued. “She’s so good on screen and off, and you definitely don’t want to miss her in this Sunday’s episode @wcth_tv @hallmarkchannel #Hearties.”
Erin Krakow & Fans Gush Over Ben Rosenbaum & Brooke Shields
Rosenbaum’s wife and a Heartie fan favorite, Erin Krakow, commented on the adoring post, writing, “Love these 2 pics and these 2 peeps.”
Fans of the show also left their thoughts in the Hallmark star’s comments, complimenting him and Shields for their youthful looks then and now.
“Love this!!!! Neither of you age!” wrote one.

Many Hearties also expressed wanting to see Shields stick around on the “WCTH” set after her three-episode return this season concludes.
