A sweet Hallmark reunion has fans buzzing, as everybody continues to rally to see the series return. Catherine Bell, James Denton, and Bailee Madison starred together in the Hallmark series “Good Witch,” and they just reunited at an event in Florida.
Catherine Bell Declared Her ‘Good Witch’ Reunion Was Long Overdue
On March 19, Bell shared an Instagram post showing her with Denton and Madison. In the caption, Bell wrote, “Been way too long!!” She added, “My heart is full.”
Madison commented on the post with a string of red-heart emoji icons. Within minutes, dozens of Hallmark fans had added similar comments.
One fan wrote, “This warms my heart big time!”
Another gushed, “I love you all so much. I love Good Witch reunions.”
Someone else added, “Not me getting emotional at work!!!!”
The photo that Bell shared showed her standing between Denton and Madison. She looked happy and content as she smiled and snapped the selfie. Madison leaned in to hug her former TV mom, and Denton leaned in from the other side of Bell.
The reunion between the three “Good Witch” stars comes thanks to scheduled appearances at the Megacon Orlando event in Florida. Both Bell and Madison are appearing at the event all four days it’s happening, which is Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, March 22. Denton, however, will not be present on Sunday.
Hallmark Fans Would Love to See ‘Good Witch’ Return
Hallmark aired “Good Witch” for seven seasons, for a total of 77 episodes. News of the cancellation in July 2021 left the show’s stars and fans heartbroken.
As Deadline shared in 2021, Bell took to Instagram in the wake of the cancellation news to note she was “so grateful for 7 seasons.” She shared, “It has always felt like family.”
Denton told Deadline, “It would be unseemly to complain about your show being canceled after seven seasons, and I won’t. I’ve been very fortunate to have been on other long-running series, but ‘Good Witch’ was special.”
Even though “Good Witch” has been gone for several years, Hallmark fans have not forgotten it. Bell and her “Good Witch” co-stars have repeatedly been asked about bringing the story back to television screens, and they have consistently suggested they were open to it.
Some fans have mistakenly believed Hallmark officially ordered either a revival series or a movie for “Good Witch.” However, that is still not the case, but nobody has given up hope yet.
Even just a few months ago, Hallmark fans buzzed over the possibility on Reddit.
“I would be so excited! I rewatch the show every other year,” one fan exclaimed.
Another fan shared, “I’ve been praying and manifesting a reboot of the show!”
A recent discussion among Hallmark fans on Facebook prompted similar responses.
“I would be happy with a movie a year. I loved the movies and the series,” one comment read. That person added, “I still rewatch them.”
Someone else added, “I truly miss this series! I am hoping it’s coming back.”
I would love to see Good Witch come back too!! I have all the movies and all 7 seasons of the show on DVD and have at least a couple of Good Witch marathons a year!!
I would love to see this show return, especially if Bailee would come back, perhaps as a career woman or a young married bringing up the next generation of Merriwick girls. All the characters on this show were memorable and special. I love that Hallmark Family has episodes on every Saturday night.
I also would like to see Good Witch come back. A return of the series would be great, but even a movie would also be great.
I also loved this show. I really think Hallmark got rid of good shows, actresses, actors for things that did not pan out.
They got rid pf good mystery movies like Emma Fielding and Mystery 101- shows that were really watched.
