Hunter King and Evan Roderick star in Hallmark’s next Christmas movie premiere, “A Make or Break Holiday.” Ahead of the movie’s December 19 debut, King talked about her character, her co-star, shared some real-life updates, and gushed over her Hallmark colleagues with Just Jared.
Hunter King Had Tons of Fun Shooting ‘A Make or Break Holiday’
King told Just Jared that she “absolutely adored this script and getting to play Liv.”
She felt that Liv’s story was one a lot of people could relate to. “People get in their own way sometimes,” she acknowledged of the troubles Liv and Evan Roderick’s Daniel navigate in the movie.
“A Make or Break Holiday” is the first movie that King and Roderick have worked on together. She gushed that he is “the best! Truly.”
King added, “I feel like we became friends instantly. He’s such a kind and thoughtful person, and that really reflects in how he is as a scene partner.”
“We had so much fun on this shoot, I can’t wait for people to see it!”
The Hallmark Star Adores Her Colleagues
Roderick wasn’t the only Hallmark star King gushed over in her interview. When asked who she dreams of working with but hasn’t yet, she admitted, “I’ve become friends with so many of them and I just adore them all that it’s too hard to pick just one!”
Despite the difficulties of choosing just one or two Hallmark stars, King was able to share a few ideas. “I mean I’d love the chance to work with Nikki DeLoach or Ashley Williams. I think they’re both such funny, and incredibly talented actors,” she explained.
King added, “I honestly want to name like 25 people!” She also named Wes Brown, noting that he is a friend of her fiancé’s and “I just think he’s the greatest!”
The Hallmark star also appeared on an episode of Hallmark’s “Finding Mr. Christmas” during season 2, and she “really had the best time.”
She noted she had never had an experience like that before and she joked she wanted to ask Jonathan Bennett if she could stick around the rest of the season.
King also shared, “Not to mention getting to spend the day with Melissa Peterman was and always will be a dream come true. No one makes me laugh more.”
King Is Excited About Her Upcoming Wedding in Italy
While King plays someone having trouble with her love life in “A Make or Break Holiday,” her real-life love life is going great. She recently got engaged to Chris Copier, and she gushed, “I’m just so excited to marry the love of my life.”
“He is my biggest supporter and cheerleader, and I couldn’t ask for a better teammate to do life with,” King shared. She added, “Icing on the cake is getting to say ‘I do’ in Italy with our closest friends and family.”
