Hallmark alum and “General Hospital” star Ryan Paevey has been busy working on a project he’s ready to share with fans.
In addition to returning to “General Hospital,” the actor has been working to launch his own YouTube channel. In a recent Instagram post, he talked about his vision for the project and explained why it has taken longer than he initially anticipated to get it up and running.
Ryan Paevey Is a Perfectionist, & That Hindered His Progress
In an Instagram post shared on February 2, Paevey provided a sneak peek into his project thus far. In the caption, Paevey teased, “Good things take time, right?”
Paevey shared that the videos he plans to share on his YouTube channel will provide “a glimpse of some of my day to day, and some epic adventures.”
In the video posted on Instagram, Paevey explained, “So, if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you’ve probably heard me talking about my big grandiose YouTube plans for an adventure.”
The “Unleashing Mr. Darcy” star explained that his vision for the videos was that he’d power around in the ocean on “things that float.” Then, he’d let his fans “watch and decide if what I’m doing is technically considered surfing.”
He noted that he considers himself to be a perfectionist, which meant that when it came to launching his YouTube channel, it took him longer than expected.
“I wanted to make sure that we could do a good job with the taping, and also that we could do stuff worth taping, if that makes any sense,” Paevey shared.
The Actor’s Fans Are Eager to See His YouTube Channel Take Off
In creating the channel, Paevey hoped to share his love of the ocean with others.
He also shared that his jewelry-making venture, Fortunate Wanderer, has been, and continues to be, a creative outlet for him.
However, Paevey seems to crave something more, and he feels that taking fans along on some big surfing adventures will fit the bill.
Paevey’s Instagram followers made it clear they are ready to join this adventure with him.
One commented, “This is cool and thank you for sharing with us and you inspire me!!”
Another wrote, “When’s the next episode you have my vote… GREAT vids I’ve watched more than twice.”
So far, Paevey has only uploaded two videos to his YouTube channel. However, based on his new Instagram post, it sounds as if he’s on the verge of adding much more content.
A fan noted, “I hope the videos turn into a series. Everything you put out is worth watching.”
“Ryan, So happy your grandiose plan has finally come to fruition! All good things take time to evolve. Your adventures are worth waiting for,” someone else encouraged.
Paevey did not reveal when his next new video would be uploaded, nor did he share any type of schedule for new content. However, he did encourage his fans to “do all those social media verbs like subscribe and share and all that,” which it appears many of them are excited to do.

I have loved everything he presents himself in, the hallmark movies, General Hospital(so glad his character is back). I will watch him on YouTube , and I love jewelry, got more than I need, but I’ll love to see what hes making.
