Hallmark star Scott Michael Foster, 41, married Carson Fagerbakke, 32, on August 1 in an enchanting wedding at the Berkeley Castle in Gloucestershire, England.
While first photos of the couple’s fairytale wedding were shared by PEOPLE days after their ceremony, videographers Stacy and Nick of Stratovych revealed an official highlight video of Foster and Fagerbakke’s special day.
In the video shared to Stratovych’s Instagram on Thursday, August 6, Fagerbakke could be seen as her father, Bill Fagerbakke, walked her down the aisle to Foster, who wiped tears from his eyes as they exchanged their handwritten vows.
Scott Michael Foster and Carson Fagerbakke’s Wedding Video
After saying “I do,” Foster and Fagerbakke were joined by their closest loved ones for an intimate reception at the medieval fortress. The couple had their first dance on a floor lit up with neon red lighting. As Foster twirled his bride in his arms, a mashup of Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are the Best Thing” and the Hamilton Leithauser song “A 1000 Times” played in the background.
Moments before making it official, Fagerbakke gave her bridesmaids a first look at her gorgeous wedding dress designed by Kim Kassas. In the highlight video, Foster could be seen getting prepared with his groomsmen — one of whom made sure to fasten the Hallmark actor’s necktie.
Foster shared with PEOPLE that he and Fagerbakke chose to get married in England for sentimental reasons. “We were in the U.K. when we both realized we wanted to get married, so it felt fitting to come back for this moment,” the actor shared, adding that getting married in a castle just felt right.
Foster noted that he and Fagerbakke wanted to make their wedding not only a momentous occasion for themselves but also an “unforgettable celebration with friends and family in a stunning and historic location.” While planning their wedding, the couple made sure to create a vibe that would be “classy, moody, and cinematic.”
The couple, who met eight years ago on the set of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” exchanged their vows as Fagerbakke’s sister Hannah Royce officiated.
Scott Michael Foster’s Christmas Day Proposal
In an interview with Elizabeth Stanton on the “Pause Rewind” podcast, Foster opened up about how he proposed to Fagerbakke, which, according to his details, paints the moment as a scene straight from one of his Hallmark movies.
“I did it in front of her whole family. She had no idea,” Foster shared of the couple’s engagement on Christmas Day in 2024. “I was like, ‘Hey, there’s one more gift behind the tree,’ and she’s like, ‘No, looks like a gift. It’s like the light box.’ And I was like, ‘No, no, no. Just go check it. There’s another gift.’ And she’s like, ‘I’m telling you, it’s just that it’s just the lights for the tree.’ And I was like, ‘Will you get back there and go find another box?’”
“And it was a little bit of a red herring because then she went around the tree, and when she came back, I was on my knee,” Foster added.
