Fans of “Castle Impossible” won’t have to wait much longer for season 2. HGTV has officially announced the show’s return and revealed its premiere date. Get all the details.
HGTV Announces ‘Castle Impossible’ Season 2 Premiere Date
In December 2025, HGTV announced that “Castle Impossible” would return for a second season in 2026.
In their press release, the network noted that “renovators Daphne and Ian Fig will continue the restoration of her late grandfather’s 500-year-old chateau on a 130-acre estate just outside of Paris, France” in the second season.
“After a year of tireless work on the sprawling property, this season the Figs will focus on the revival and sustainability of their historic Chateau de Lesigny by expanding their wedding and event businesses to finance the much-needed renovations,” the release noted.
“In the eight new episodes, Daphne and Ian will work on pivotal rooms for their businesses including a honeymoon suite in the dove tower, a tea salon, a dungeon tavern and a library, in addition to restoring the chateau’s gatehouse as a residence for Daphne’s granny,” the network revealed at the time.
In the comments section of the Figs’ January 6 Instagram post showing the snow covered chateau, one fan noted, “Can’t wait for season 2 @hgtv.”
The couple responded, “We’re so excited to share what we’ve been building for season 2!!!😊”
On April 28, the HGTV Instagram account announced the “Castle Impossible” season 2 premiere date.
“Turns out, restoring a 500-year-old chateau was *not* a one‑season problem 🏰😅,” the caption noted.
“Season 2 of #CastleImpossible premieres Tuesday, May 26, at 9|8c on HGTV!” the caption added.
