See Where David Bromstad Lives: Inside the HGTV Star’s New Perfectly Pink Dream Home (PHOTOS)

With one month to go until beloved HGTV star David Bromstad welcomes fans into his newly renovated Florida home on a new special, “My Lottery Dream Home: David’s Happy Ending,” the colorful designer is giving fans a sneak peek before the show premieres on December 19, 2025.

Bromstad’s spent the last four years transforming the traditional Tudor he bought near Orlando in 2021 into his own perfectly pink wonderland.

David Bromstad Calls Newly Renovated Home a ‘Love Letter to Myself’

On November 17, HGTV Magazine posted the first pics on social media from its new photo spread with Bromstad, who dressed in pink and white to match his finally finished abode that he called “a love letter to myself.”

Located in Winter Park, Florida, the 4,000-square-foot home needed a full makeover in Bromstad’s eyes. And he was on his own self-discovery journey throughout the process, he told the magazine, explaining, “When it was down to the studs, so was I.”

Although Bromstad kept some of the original Tudor detailing on the exterior, he added a splash of pink to the white and brown facade.

“It’s a classic stucco color that you see sprinkled in the Italian countryside,” he told HGTV Magazine, describing it as “almost the exact color of an eraser.”

David Bromstad Says He Wanted to Start & End His Days in His Ideal Environment

Bromstad’s favorite spot in the house, he told HGTV Magazine, is the theater room with built-in shelves for more of his massive glass vase collection, a multi-colored velvet sectional from Makers & Son (which likely cost over $20,000 based on their pricing), and a projector for watching movies and TV shows.

The “Design Star” alum’s kitchen features white cabinets he wanted “to look like they were covered in fondant” and counters with pops of color, from a bright red sink to hanging pink glass pendant lights.

While on his 50th birthday trip to Norway, according to HGTV Magazine, Bromstad fell in love with all the old stone buildings he saw. So in his own house, he “covered the walls and then overgrouted to get the effect,” the outlet said. He then offset that with more modern touches, including pink and red dining room chairs and colorful artwork.

Meanwhile, his bedroom and attached bath are awash in soft pinks. Bromstad told HGTV Magazine, “To start and end my day in the ultimate joyful space was really important to me.”

Fans Say Sneak Peeks at David Bromstad’s House Do Not Disappoint

According to real estate documents reviewed by EntertainmentNow, Bromstad purchased his house for $975,000 in 2021.

At the time, he told HGTV, “I really wanted something that was move-in ready that I didn’t have to do a lot of work. Of course, I’m going to put my spin on it. It could have been brand new and I’m still going to tear some things down or paint things or, you know, do something structural.”

But Bromstad eventually changed his tune, deciding he wanted much more. Per records reviewed by EntertainmentNow, he got a massive addition approved by the city in 2022, added fencing and landscaping all around the yard for privacy, and even added pink stone pergolas by his backyard pool to carry his theme throughout.

Fans have flooded HGTV Magazine’s post about the home’s dramatic makeover, including one who wrote, “Screaming, crying, throwing up— this is GORGEOUS! 🩷”

Another commented, “I mean!!!!! David you are one of a kind! LOVE every square inch!💕😘”
