Egypt Sherrod Talks Balance: ‘Protect Your Peace, Honor Your Priorities’
On April 28, Sherrod took to Instagram to share a brief video of herself sporting a hat and long braid, walking alongside the water.
Her message was simple: “Balance … period.”
In the caption, the “Married to Real Estate” star explained, “Build the business. Secure the bag. But don’t forget to live in the life you’re creating.”
She added, “Protect your peace. Honor your priorities. And never trade your joy for a version of ‘winning’ that doesn’t feel like you. ✨”
Her fans flooded the comments section to agree, with comments like “Amen to that” and “100 agree.”
“Yesssss Egypt … walk in it at your pace … peacefully ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥,” one fan wrote. “So Beautiful.”
On February 19, Sherrod took to Instagram to share a video of her playing football with her daughter, explaining that work could wait while she enjoyed family time.
“Called out this afternoon for the best reason ever … playtime with my kiddos,” Sherrod wrote in the caption.
The former HGTV star continued, “Kendall’s arm is an absolute BEAST … she’s got me out here dodging throws and sounding like a full-on banshee. 🤣 I didn’t sign up for the major leagues, but here we are!”
“Deadlines can wait. Laughter can’t,” Sherrod added. “Here’s to choosing balance, chasing JOY, and saying ‘yes’ to the moments that matter most.”
Egypt Sherrod Shares Look at Fun Date Night With Husband Mike Jackson
Sherrod recently shared some insight about prioritizing romantic relationships, with a look at her fun date night with husband Mike Jackson.
On April 16, Sherrod took to Instagram to share highlights of their skate date. “Date night! 🛼🛼🛼🛼” she wrote in the caption.
Sherrod continued, “We don’t stay in step because life is smooth, we stay because God is faithful and our union is worth fighting for. Every glide is a choice, every turn back is a reminder that we can’t skate away when it’s hard.”
“And when we stumble we don’t quit, we lean in, steady each other and continue,” the former HGTV star noted.
She added, “Love isn’t just felt, it’s fought for. And in Him, we always find our way back to each other. 🩷”
She also kept it real, noting that the date night activity came with some pain. “P.S. yes our ankles hurt the next day 😝,” Sherrod wrote.
In the video, they laced up their skates and shared a kiss. Sherrod confessed, “I have not roller skated in over 20 years! I feel like I’m just learning how to drive.”
Once they got rolling, she was a natural, however, as she and Jackson enjoyed all the fun and freedom of gliding along. Jackson stumbled at one point, but did so with a smile on his face.
Sherrod and Jackson shared sweet frozen drinks and an even sweeter kiss at the end of the video.
