HGTV stars Ben and Erin Napier took on a special home renovation for the March 29 episode of “Home Town.” Napier teased the emotional episode, noting that viewers should have a tissue on hand.
Erin Napier Shares Details of Emotional ‘Home Town’ Episode
On March 29, Napier took to Instagram to tease the newest episode of “Home Town.”
“TONIGHT on ‘Home Town,’ you’ll meet Joe and his best friend Brian who are coming to Laurel from California in search of a better life,” she wrote in the caption.
Napier shared, “When Joe became paralyzed in a bike accident at age 15, his mom and Brian stepped up to make sure Joe never missed an opportunity and never stopped moving through life. Now Joe wants he and his beloved caretakers to get an easier and upgraded life in the south.”
“It’s an episode of firsts for us, and you will absolutely need to bring your tissues,” she added.
“For now, here’s a look at the Bilal house from last week that is such a showstopper. And also the were two of the funniest homeowners we have ever worked with, bless the editors who got to work on that one,” the HGTV star noted.
HGTV also shared a clip from the March 29 “Home Town” episode on Instagram. “A life-changing accident spurs a beautiful friendship,” the video noted.
In the clip, Joe recalled how he became paralyzed after a biking accident. “Brian took me in the wheelchair and we walked everywhere together,” he noted.
Joe added, “For me, being in a wheelchair is probably the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It made me do things that I wouldn’t have done otherwise,” including going to college and becoming a teacher.
