Ben and Erin Napier are taking on some big challenges on “Home Town” season 10, including one meaningful renovation that’s unlike any other they’ve done before. Erin shares how they had to beg HGTV to do it.
Ben & Erin Napier’s New ‘Home Town’ Season Features a First
“Home Town” fans have seen the Napiers renovate homes and businesses, but the couple is tackling some new territory in season 10, premiering on January 4.
During a January 2026 interview with Fox News Digital, the Napiers shared the details of one of the most meaningful projects they’ve done yet — renovating the maternity ward and waiting room at a local hospital.
Erin explained that she was born in the hospital and their children were born there as well.
“My dad worked there for 44 years. I was born there. My babies were born there. All my friends’ babies were born there,” she shared. “Nieces and nephews were born there. So we have a million special and important, huge moments in this maternity ward, especially when a new person joins your family in your world. And it always happened in this one room.”
The HGTV star continued, “This was sacred ground for me. Imagine how scared you are having your first baby ever. And this is the place where it happens. And I felt so loved, so comforted. These nurses, these doctors are so incredible that I wanted to honor them and what we did.”
Erin noted, “And the CEO of the hospital wanted it to feel like a five-star hotel experience. So I was just hugely honored and also had to, like, beg HGTV to let us do it because it’s not a house, it’s not a garden, but it was so important.”
“And I cried twice in the episode. Isn’t that ridiculous?” she added. “It was so ridiculous.”
‘Home Town’ Season 10 Kicks Off With a Two-Part Episode
Ben and Erin conquered another first on “Home Town” season 10 — a historic home renovation that was so huge, it spanned two episodes.
On January 4, Erin took to Instagram ahead of the show’s premiere, writing in the caption: “TONIGHT at 8/7 ct ‘Home Town’ is back! Our first project was so massive we worked on it across 6 months and it will be the first two episodes of the season.”
The HGTV star continued, “Our friends the Galahers had done everything they could to save their grand, historic, multi-generational heirloom home in bursts of savings and trial and error by contractors who said it needed to be torn down, but we know nothing is beyond salvation if you love it enough. Watch with us on @hgtv @discoveryplus @hbomax!”
The HGTV Instagram account posted video of the Galaher house, giving fans a look at how much work the Napiers had on their plate.
Fans lit up the comments section, sharing their excitement over the new season and this renovation challenge in particular.
“I cannot wait to see what is done to this house!! It is a beautiful home!! And they love it,” one person wrote.
Other fans noted, “Can’t wait to see the transformation” and “I have no doubt the Napiers can fix her up.”

So happy you are able to do renovations on this historical beauty. I am excited to see the final product. Loved the “appetizer”!view of the renovated primary bath/bedroom/closet. Beautiful! I agree that Erin is so in touch with Color!
