Dave and Jenny Marrs are no strangers to jaw-dropping reactions during the big reveal moment on “Fixer to Fabulous.” The HGTV stars experienced a first for their show, however, when a homeowner was so stunned by the home’s exterior that she couldn’t make it down the street to see the final outcome.

While many homeowners are eager to get in the front door and see the transformation, Dave and Jenny revealed one owner who got a little overwhelmed on the drive up to their home.
On January 21, Jenny took to Instagram to share a funny video that showed their reaction as they anticipated the homeowner’s arrival.
“Driving up to the reveal is undoubtedly nerve wracking and we have had homeowners pull up so flustered that they lock their keys in the car (which meant our sound equipment was locked in and we had to wait for a locksmith before we could finish the reveal), forget to put the car in park (and the car proceeded to roll down the driveway) and, quite a few have almost driven past their own house,” Jenny shared in the caption.
She continued, “But, this was a first. Dave and I had no idea what was happening. We didn’t know why Renee was stopping and, to be honest, we got a little nervous thinking maybe she didn’t want to go through with the reveal.”
“When we watched this footage, we laughed so hard! I love this reaction as much as I loved this project! Renee and Allie are so much fun and everything about this project and this reveal was full of joy and laughter!” she noted.
The HGTV star added, “I’ll share ‘after’ photos soon but, first, I wanted to give everyone a chance to watch the episode! Go watch it if you haven’t yet!”
In the video, Dave asks, “Why is she stopping?” as they watch the car come to a stop at the end of the street. The homeowner has a couple of starts and stops, causing Dave and Jenny to wonder what is happening.
“This is new,” Jenny says. “This is a first.”
Fans Love the Homeowner’s Adorable Reaction
Fans flooded the comments section of Jenny’s reveal post with messages about how sweet the homeowner’s arrival was.
“The way she kept stopping the car was so cute! I just loved her reactions during the reveal,” one fan wrote.

On January 22, Jenny shared after photos of the project, including details of the paint colors that fan asked about.
“Sister energy is my absolute favorite!” she noted in the caption. “Renee’s home went from quirky to beautiful and cozy and, most importantly, she loves it and I know there will be so many family gatherings here and this home will always be full of joy, love and laughter!”
The HGTV star added, “This whole project was an absolute delight.”
