Jenny Marrs Shares Her Top Kitchen Design Tips

On April 28, Marrs took to Instagram to share a few kitchen design tips that can make a huge difference.

“3 ways we like to elevate a kitchen,” she noted in the caption.

“1. Start by letting one material lead, it brings a sense of warmth and cohesion to the space,” Marrs explained.

She continued, “2. Layer in subtle texture through the backsplash to add depth without overwhelming.”

“3. And incorporate custom details that feel thoughtfully integrated,” the HGTV star added.

She included photos of a stunning kitchen design featuring a stone backsplash throughout, natural wood cabinets, and gold details.

Fans lit up the comments section to share how much they loved the gorgeous space.

“Love the stone & wood combination!” one fan wrote. “Absolutely beautiful & so inviting!”

Jenny Marrs’ Best Tricks for Designing a White Kitchen

On March 6, the Dave and Jenny Marrs’ Instagram account posted “Jenny’s Guide to White Kitchens.”

The HGTV star shared kitchen photos that showed how small details can be really impactful, such as including wood, texture, and brass hardware.

“Welcome back to Friday Q+A! This week we’re talking about how to warm up a white kitchen,” she explained in the caption.

The caption continued, “One of the easiest ways to add warmth is by incorporating natural wood tones. Whether it’s wood shelving, a butcher block accent, or wood flooring, these elements add depth and create a foundation that balances bright cabinetry.”

“Another detail we love is warm metals,” the HGTV stars wrote. “Brass hardware and faucets bring in contrast and help soften an all-white palette while still feeling classic.”

The lighting can also be impactful, as they noted, “Woven or fabric light fixtures paired with warm lighting can instantly make a kitchen feel more inviting and layered.”

A variety of details adds an extra touch. “From handmade or textured tile to simple styling elements like cutting boards, linens, and greenery, these small details help a white kitchen feel warm, lived in, and balanced,” they explained.

And the color, for those wondering, is Benjamin Moore White Dove, described as “a beautiful white with warm undertones.”

“White kitchens will always feel classic — it’s the layers of warmth and texture that make them feel special,” the “Fixer to Fabulous” stars added.

Fans loved the kitchen tips, with one commenting, “Beautiful. I love a white kitchen. I try to warm it up with the counter and accessories. I get tired of color cabinets in a few years. White is forever.”

Another fan noted, “Jenny, as always, an amazing kitchen.”
