Dave and Jenny Marrs traveled to Italy for a little marble shopping excursion recently — and Jenny revealed that they are working on a new project! The HGTV stars picked out marble for what she called a “pinch me” project.
Jenny Marrs Marvels at Italian Marble as She Teases New Project
On April 27, Jenny took to Instagram to share a look at her latest trip to Italy with Dave. The couple went there to pick out marble, as she teased on her Instagram Stories that they needed it for a new project.
She noted, “Yes, we are working on another project in Italy. No, we aren’t filming it for the show. Just a really fun pinch-me project!”
One photo she included on her Stories noted it was “a mock up with the marble slab I chose for the kitchen we are working on.”
In the Instagram post, she explained, “I always say it’s best to choose your marble slab in person so we went straight to the source. 🙌 Last week, Dave and I visited Letizia once again at @lucedicarrara and we pinched ourselves the entire time. How is this real life?? The slabs are all remarkably beautiful and it absolutely blows my mind that God created all of this beauty simply for us to enjoy.”
“We didn’t drive back to the top of the quarry this time (that was quite literally a once in a lifetime experience for me 😉) but we did marvel once again at the fact that God is the absolute best creator and this world He made for us truly is breathtaking,” she continued.
Jenny asked, “Why would He go all out and create a place like this? Why would He hide marble in a mountain to be discovered by an artist named Michelangelo hundreds of years ago?”
“I think it was all for love,” she explained. “Because, He knew there would be the ones who would see this magnificently beautiful place and the exquisite materials within and they would go on to create more beauty.”
The HGTV star added, “And, that beauty would be deeply appreciated and it would all point back to the One who made it all. Our good, His glory.”

“Saw this on Maine Cabin Masters … what an experience to go there. Apparently, the drive isn’t fun,’ one fan shared.
Jenny responded, “Nope the drive was terrifying!”
Another follower commented, “Like you, I did the visit to the top one time. That’s a one time only experience. I died a thousand times.”
