Joanna Gaines’ Sunset Farm Vibe Wins Fans Over
On April 25, Gaines took to Instagram to share a sweet video of farm life.
“Sunset on the farm,” she wrote in the caption. “Sleep tight cutie animals.”
The video opened with her husband Chip carrying a chunky puppy under each arm as their tails wagged. As he walked away from the camera, fans could see the beautiful sunset and a stunning white fence with blooming vines.
Gaines shared some other glimpses at serene scenes, such as cows grazing, an enchanting building with flowering potted plants and decorative toadstools beside the door, and the sweetest baby cows.
She ended the clip with an adorable dog resting his head in the grass, the chickens clucking, and a horse on the move, before showing another darling building with blooms surrounding the entry.
Fans loved seeing this peaceful peek at the end of the day on the farm.

On April 24, Gaines took to Instagram to share a much different look at their home life, as she worked amid chaos to capture photos for the next Magnolia Journal magazine.
“Can’t wait for you to see what we created out of the chaos for @magnolia ✨🤗✨,” she wrote in the caption.
In the video, she said, “Today, I thought it would be really fun to do a product photo shoot at the farm with all my friends … while also starting a renovation in my kitchen.”
She revealed people hard at work in the kitchen, then held up a lemon and stems to say, “Photo shoot, beautiful … ” before moving through a doorway to show more chaos.
“No stress guys, no stress,” Gaines said as she moved to the backyard.
“I didn’t plan this well,” she explained.
The Magnolia empire owner gathered beautiful flowers, then sat on a table amidst vases filled with blooms while trying to get baby goats to cooperate. One vase took a tumble and her team came to reset the scene.
