Lara Spencer Celebrates Her ‘GMA’ Family
On March 4, Spencer posted a photo on Instagram of herself and Robin Roberts embracing. They are smiling into the camera. In the caption, she shared her thoughts, writing, “So grateful for the care and love I have received during this time. This is just one moment-after a big hug-caught on camera-but there have been so many-and they have meant the world to me. Thank you gma family. Love you.”

Lara Spencer’s Beloved Mom Passes Away
On February 16, Spencer made an Instagram post about her mother, who had been diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2023. In her post, she revealed that Von Seelen passed on February 13. She was 85.
Spencer posted several photos of herself and her family, including Von Seelen, highlighting their beautiful bond. She remembered the impact her mom had on her life and celebrated her for her optimistic outlook. “If you were lucky enough to meet my mom you know that smile that lit up every room she walked into. What you might not have seen at first glance was her courage, resilience, endless optimism, deep faith, and boundless love for her family,” she wrote in the caption.
