Leslie Davis has been living it up in California with her family after announcing her engagement to Don Reidy, a carpenter who worked with her on “Rock the Block.” Check out the HGTV star’s latest adventure.
Leslie Davis Shares Her Travel Adventure With Fans
On January 22, Davis took to Instagram to share some highlights of her recent vacation with sons Cash and Cole and her fiancé. She confirmed in the comments that her son Kyler didn’t join them.
“Spent last weekend in the California sun, soaking up time with my boys and laughing our way through amusement parks,” she noted in the caption.
Davis added, “We checked off all the tourist boxes from Krustyland at @unistudios to the Walk of Fame and Santa Monica Pier! We fit a lot in just a few short days 🎢⭐️⛱️.”
The HGTV star included a look at some of their fun at Universal Studios, In-N-Out Burger, a wax museum, the Walk of Fame, and the beach.
Fans lit up the comments section with messages about their fun getaway. “Hope you had an amazing time!!” one fan wrote.
Another fan noted, “And you came here the perfect weekend with the best weather!!”
“I love that whole area!! Used to take my kids there a lot,” another fan shared.
Davis Gave a Life Update Following Her Engagement
On January 14, the HGTV star announced her engagement and, on January 16, Davis took to Instagram with a life update.
Alongside a photo taken at Universal, she shared in the caption, “Just posted a little life update on our blog 💍🥂💌 Head to my stories to read more!”
In her blog post, Davis wrote, “This week I shared some pretty big news … I’m engaged!!! And Don and I couldn’t be more excited to finally share our story with you and celebrate this big life moment.”
She explained how they first met on “Rock the Block” season 5. “Don was one of the contractors working tirelessly on our house, making it #TWINWIN worthy! Through the stressful days, endless hours, and lots of laughs in between, we became best friends and continued to stay in touch post-filming,” Davis shared.
The HGTV star continued, “Don was living in Colorado and working on other HGTV favorites, while I was wrapping up filming ‘Unsellable Houses’ season 5 here in Snohomish, but we made an effort to keep our friendship growing.”
“With hundreds of FaceTime calls that turned into dates and quick weekend trips to see each other, it was clear we were more than friends,” she added. Reidy relocated to Washington after a year of long-distance dating.
In her engagement post, she noted that Reidy “popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect.”
