Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton were friends for more than a decade before their relationship took a romantic turn.
From early fashion events to family vacations and Formula One races, the Skims founder and Ferrari driver have gradually allowed fans to see more of their relationship.

The two attended the “GQ” Men of the Year Awards with their respective partners at the time, Kanye West and Nicole Scherzinger.
Lewis was also friendly with Kanye and spent Easter with the Kardashian family in 2015. The driver later developed a friendship with Kris Jenner, who visited him at the Monaco Grand Prix in 2018.
Kim and Lewis continued crossing paths at fashion shows, industry events and award ceremonies over the following years.
Romance Rumors Started in Early 2026
According to Elle, dating speculation began after Kim and Lewis attended Kate Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party in Aspen.
The rumors intensified in February when they were seen arriving separately at Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds.
Shortly afterward, footage showed the pair entering a hotel together in Paris. According to People, it was “a romantic meetup.”
Kim and Lewis were later photographed dining together at Aqua Kyoto in Paris. Then, the two attended the 2026 Super Bowl together on February 8.
Footage showed the pair talking in the stands, marking their first public outing after reports surfaced that they were exploring a romantic relationship.
Their time together quickly expanded beyond date nights. In March, Lewis joined Kim, her children, Khloé Kardashian and Khloé’s children for a spring break vacation in Tokyo.
A source told People at the time that Kim’s family liked Lewis and that the connection was “more than just casual.”
Kim Made It Instagram Official
In April, Kim appeared in a video Lewis posted from Tokyo. The clip showed the driver behind the wheel of a Ferrari with Kim in the passenger seat.
Later that month, they were photographed kissing and embracing during a beach day in Malibu.
Kim officially included Lewis in an Instagram carousel on June 1. One of the photos showed them riding bicycles together in New York City.
She captioned the post, “lately.”
They Support Each Other’s Careers
Kim traveled to Monaco in June to support Lewis during the Grand Prix.
“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have her support,” Lewis said during a press conference.
He added that Kim supports him every day.
Kim later celebrated Lewis’ first Formula One victory as a Ferrari driver by sharing a racing photo with a trophy emoji and red heart.
Lewis has also supported Kim’s acting career. His latest Instagram post included a photo from the set of her legal drama, “All’s Fair.”
Their Families Have Grown Closer
Lewis has spent more time with Kim’s four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
The couple appeared together during a Fourth of July lake vacation with Kim’s family. Kris encouraged Lewis in the comments of a wakeboarding video, while Kim described those on the trip as her “favorite people.”
On August 7, Lewis offered another look at their relationship in an Instagram post captioned, “Resting, restoring, recharging.”
The carousel included a selfie with Kim, a photo of her with his dog and another image from the set of “All’s Fair.”
After years of friendship, their recent posts suggest Kim and Lewis are becoming increasingly comfortable sharing their relationship publicly.
