Chalamet appeared surprised (and stoked) when his name was announced. He paused to lean over and share a kiss with Jenner before heading to the stage.

Once at the microphone, he spoke about how special the moment was, saying, “I don’t know if I’ll be up here again, so give me a second,” as he thoughtfully thanked the people who supported him throughout the journey.

He then opened his speech by thanking his fellow nominees, his team, and the film’s director, Josh Safdie, calling his win a meaningful milestone in his career.

He concluded his speech, giving a sweet nod to Jenner, saying, “And lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation,” Chalamet said.

Later, cameras also captured Jenner mouthing “I love you” as a sweet response to his speech. The couple was also spotted sharing a quick kiss after his name was announced as the winner.

They were first linked in April 2023 and later confirmed their relationship publicly that fall when they were spotted kissing at Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour.”

While breakup rumors have surfaced from time to time, sources have consistently maintained that the pair remains rock-solid.

A source spoke to People in November 2025 and said that Chalamet “talked about Kylie all the time” while filming “Marty Supreme,” adding that the two are “really in love.”

The couple also drew attention at the film’s Los Angeles premiere, where they stepped out in adorable and matching orange Chrome Hearts looks.

A little later, in a notable relationship milestone, Chalamet was included in the Kardashian-Jenner family’s Christmas celebrations this year, marking his first holiday appearance since he and Kylie began dating.

His name was also iced onto the family’s gingerbread house alongside those of other Kardashian-Jenner relatives, signaling that the family has welcomed him into their close-knit gathering.

The win marked Chalamet’s first Critics’ Choice Award after several nominations over the years.

He was previously recognized for Best Actor for “Call Me By Your Name” in 2018, Best Supporting Actor for “Beautiful Boy” in 2019, and Best Actor for “A Complete Unknown” in 2025.

This year’s Best Actor race was tightly contested, with heavyweights of Hollywood and incredibly talented nominees including Leonardo DiCaprio, Joel Edgerton, Ethan Hawke, Michael B. Jordan, and Wagner Moura.

Inside His Role in ‘Marty Supreme

In “Marty Supreme,” Chalamet plays a professional table tennis player singularly focused on winning the 1952 world championship.

The role gave the actor a chance to explore themes of ambition and perseverance, which he said deeply resonated with him.

“It’s a movie about the pursuit of a dream,” Chalamet told IndieWire in December 2025.

“I’m leaving it on the field. Whether it’s the merch or the Zoom or the media appearances, I’m trying to get this out in the biggest way possible. In the spirit of Marty Mauser.”

That dedication carried beyond the screen. Chalamet leaned fully into promoting the film, reflecting the same relentless drive that defines the character he portrays.
