Lupita Nyong’o Emotionally Remembers Chadwick Boseman 6 Years After His Sad Passing

Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o has remembered her former co-star, the Academy Award-nominated actor Chadwick Boseman, with an emotional tribute on the sixth anniversary of his tragic passing.

Nyong’o, 43, starred alongside Boseman in 2018’s brilliant Marvel Cinematic Universe movie “Black Panther,” in which Boseman played the eponymous superhero, also known as T’Challa. Nyong’o played Nakia, T’Challa’s love interest in the film.

Sadly, Boseman passed away on August 28, 2020, after a brave four-year battle with colon cancer.

Now, exactly six years since he died, Nyong’o — who’s also known for her Best Supporting Actress Oscar-winning performance in 2013’s “12 Years a Slave” and for performing motion capture as Maz Kanata in the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy — has taken to social media to pay her respects to the late actor.
