Carly Rae Jepsen finally posted photos on Instagram from her October 4 wedding, and the stunning images were definitely worth the wait. The 39-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter got married at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City, according to Vogue.
Carly Rae Jepsen’s Love Story
Jepsen met Cole Marsden Greif-Neill, aka Cole M.G.N., during a songwriting session in May 2021, per Vogue. Greif-Neill is a music producer and songwriter who has worked with musicians such as Beck, Snoop Dogg, and Andy Samberg’s The Lonely Island.
Although Greif-Neill and Jepsen met in 2021, they didn’t start dating immediately. They first built a friendship and work relationship before making things official in 2022. They got engaged on September 21, 2024, announcing the joyful news on Instagram a few days later.
On October 4, 2025, Jepsen and Greif-Neill officially tied the knot in front of 100 guests in a ceremony officiated by Jepsen’s aunt and uncle.
Carly Rae Jepsen’s Wedding
According to Vogue, Jepsen went to at least three different bridal shops looking for the perfect dress (or two). Ultimately, she found her two dresses on opposite coasts. In Los Angeles, Jepsen selected a Toni Maticevski dress from Loho Bride. She found her second dress in New York at Danielle Frankel. She also donned pearl earring made by her mother.
Greif-Neill, meanwhile, wore a cream suit from Husbands in Paris paired with Gucci shoes. Her bridesmaids selected their own dresses in a jewel-toned color palette.
The way Jepsen describes her wedding sounds like magic. As she told Vogue, “Between the bright baby blue of the background, the wildflowers that surrounded us, and the intimate lighting, walking down the aisle felt like a fever dream. Nothing will top the moment when we first locked eyes, and to be honest, for the first half of the ceremony we couldn’t see anyone else.”
Although it’s hard for any event to be absolutely perfect, Jepsen wouldn’t change anything about her special day. “Often in life we’ll imagine things, and even though the reality can be good, it’s never quite as good,” Jepsen said. “This day felt like the exception. It was better than either one of our wildest dreams. We felt connected through the whole thing, which was really important to us. In fact, we even had a few special songs planted in the DJ’s setlist so that, no matter where we were at the moment, when we heard those songs, we would come find each other.”
Jepsen released her most recent album “The Loveliest Time,” in 2023. Hopefully she’ll write and share a new album soon!
