According to a recent interview with The Sun, the music icon, 79, was left “speechless” after learning she has a 15-year-old granddaughter named Ever.

The revelation came during an emotional phone call with Ever’s mother, Kayti Edwards, who shared the news last year.
“Cher got in touch with me last June and asked if it was true, so I had to confess,” Edwards explained.
She added that the star had previously heard rumors but wasn’t sure what to believe. “When she heard the news, she was speechless.”
The moment quickly turned into one of joy.
Edwards recalled that Cher shared the news with loved ones, saying, “Oh my God, I’m finally a grandma.”
Ever is reportedly the daughter of Elijah Blue Allman—Cher’s son with late rock legend Gregg Allman—following a brief relationship between Edwards and Elijah in 2010.

Edwards Stated The Two Went to Visit Cher
Edwards shared that Cher welcomed both her and Ever into her home in Malibu, offering a warm introduction to the family.
“We went to the house and stayed the night,” Edwards said. “She was lovely and kind and we had dinner.”
For Ever, the visit became a memorable moment.
Cher even gave her a glimpse into her iconic wardrobe, showing her pieces from past performances.
“Cher asked Ever if she wanted to see her closet and showed her a pair of jeans she had worn in concert,” Edwards said, adding, “It was a cool experience for her.”
She also described Cher as having a lighthearted energy during the visit, saying the superstar was “very childlike,” creating an easy and welcoming environment for her granddaughter.
The news also aligns with something Cher has openly expressed in the past—her hope to one day become a grandmother, according to HELLO!
During a 2018 press tour, she admitted, “I don’t have any grandchildren. I wish I did, I really do.”
