A$AP Rocky’s wish for a baby girl has come true after Rihanna announced the little angel’s arrival on September 24, 2025. The “Love On the Brain” singer took to her Instagram where she shared a sweet photo of herself cradling a newborn baby wrapped in a pink bow. Other signs of pink in the picture were the baby’s tiny socks, and the face of Rihanna’s watch. She also sported pink nails.

On September 23, the day before Rihanna announced the birth of her baby, People reported her longtime partner and father of all her children opened up in an Elle feature about how he was hoping for a little girl. “I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl,” he told the fashion mag. The “Problems” rapper went on, “Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know.”
Rocky also said he “had a feeling” it was going to be a girl, revealing Rihanna’s third pregnancy has been “so different” from the previous two.

When Did Rihanna Have Her Baby?
Although she posted the announcement September 24, Rihanna’ new baby was actually born nine days earlier, on September 13, 2025. The superstar revealed the baby’s birthday as well as her name in the caption of her Instagram post, which read, “Rocki Irish Mayers. September 13, 2025.”
