English singer and songwriter Jessie J quickly took action when she noticed a fight had broken out in the middle of the crowd during her concert in the U.K.
According to Page Six, the “Price Tag” singer was performing at the Party in the Paddock festival on Saturday, August 15, when she saw a brawl breaking out. The former “The Voice UK” coach wasn’t about to let a fight between concertgoers ruin the experience for everyone else, stepping in and handling the situation like a pro.
Jessie J Interrupts Concert After Fight Breaks Out in the Crowd
GettyA clip shared by the X account NYC News 24 showed how singer Jessie J took matters into her own hands when a fight broke out during her concert in the U.K. In the video, the singer could be seen stopping her show and telling her fans, “Can everyone just try and stay quiet, because the louder it is, the worse it will be.”
“This is alcohol and ego; just calm down,” she continued.
Jessie J told the crowd not to “waste time on bad energy. Especially hitting people? Come on now, in front of children, absolutely not.” She also urged those who were fighting to “just calm down. Take a breath,” to try and break up the situation, but it didn’t seem to work. “They’re seeing red,” she tells the crowd.
With the crowd quiet, fans and Jessie J heard the profanities being thrown around by the same concertgoers as they continued to go at it. The songstress seemed to have had enough, stating, “So many people have spent money on this show, to see me, so can you just get rid of them so we can carry on? Take them out, I don’t need them here.”
She even offered the concertgoers a way home. “People have been waiting hours to see us. Just take them out. Get them an Uber, I’ll pay for it.”
Security was able to remove the individuals from the crowd, with Jessie J sharing a piece of advice, “Give them a glass of water and some factor-70 [sunscreen]… they need it.”

Despite their breakup, Jessie J shared that she and Colman are maintaining a “positive friendship” for the sake of their son, adding that fans can still expect to see them out and about “together as a family.”
