The 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will fill Manhattan streets on Thursday, Nov. 27, with an array of musical talent, NBC News reported. The parade will broadcast live on NBC and stream on Peacock starting at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker will host the coverage.
This year, Macy’s emphasizes performers, offering a mix of pop stars, Broadway talent, country singers, and rock legends. The official lineup features more than two dozen acts, promising a holiday kickoff that spans genres and generations, Macy’s said.
Pop, R&B, and Country Take Center Stage
Cynthia Erivo, the Tony- and Emmy-winning singer and “Wicked” star, will open the parade. Her performance will set a high-energy tone for the morning.
Pop and contemporary music acts include Conan Gray, Ciara, Lil Jon, and Teyana Taylor, Billboard reported. Country fans will see Lainey Wilson perform along the parade route, adding her storytelling style to the mix.
GettyClassic rock and funk legends will also appear. Foreigner and Kool & the Gang will bring familiar hits to the streets of Manhattan. Singer-songwriters Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw will perform melodic pop selections, according to Macy’s official parade lineup.
Broadway and viral performers, including EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami of HUNTR/X from Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters,” will also appear, NBC News reported. The Radio City Rockettes will return with their signature high-kick routines. Patch noted that this diverse lineup aims to appeal to multiple generations and musical tastes.

While performers dominate this year, balloons and floats provide a visual backdrop. New character balloons include Buzz Lightyear, Mario and Pac-Man, along with a Shrek-inspired carriage. Classic floats will appear alongside new designs from Pop Mart’s Labubu collection, adding to the holiday atmosphere, NBC News reported.
