Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Engagement Reactions

The comments on the Instagram post announcing the pair’s engagement are disabled, but that didn’t stop fans from finding a place to weigh in.

A Reddit group called “Pop Heads” one fan declared, “I always thought if she got engaged, we’d only find out from pap walks of her wearing a ring. She’s been very open recently! Happy for her.”

Another chimed in with their excitement and being one of the first to see the announcement. They said, “OMG HOW EXCITING FOR HER!!! 🥹 I literally just opened IG randomly and saw it was posted one minute earlier! No notification or anything, and only 100k likes at the time lmao.”

In another Reddit forum called “Music,” a user predicted Swift and Kelce’s joint Instagram post would “break records.” The post definitely looks set to break the internet. It garnered over 4 million likes in around 30 minutes of being live, and traffic will of course grow throughout the day.

Swift and Kelce have been the subject of endless engagement speculation ever since they first paired up officially in the fall of 2023.

Taylor Swift Is Getting the Fairytale Ending She Predicted In Song

It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years seen Taylor Swift perhaps her most romantic song ever, “Love Story,” which was accompanied by a low-budget but still enchanting video of the songstress twirling in a princess-style dress.

The song contains lyrics such as “I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress,” and “You’ll never have to be alone.”

In each lyric book from her debut album up to “1989,” Swift left hidden messages to correlate with each song by capitalizing certain letters in the lyrics. The tradition was for fans to string together each capitalized letter to spell out a hidden message.

For “Love Story,” the hidden message read, “Someday I’ll find this,” and it looks like the superstar finally has.

Swift said in an interview with Hollyscoop about the project at the time, “I love the theme of a fairytale. And I love the hope that it can happen. I think every girl has a little bit of that hope, and that want. That you could meet Prince Charming, and he could sweep you off your feet and you could live happily ever after.”

She went on, “Romeo and Juliet is one of my favorite stories except for the ending. And so in the song I kind of made the ending how I would have wanted.”
