Fan-Favorite YouTube Duo Rhett & Link Just Got a Major Streaming Upgrade

Rhett McLaughlin and Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal have been making people laugh on YouTube for nearly 20 years, and now the longtime duo has officially brought their wildly popular reality TV-adjacent variety show to Netflix. Yep, they’re taking “Good Mythical Morning” somewhere new. And giving Mythical Beasts (a.k.a. their loyal fans) another way to watch all the food challenges, games, experiments, and general chaos they’ve come to love.

Honestly, this is a pretty big deal for two guys who originally thought YouTube would just be a stepping stone to something else. “Good Mythical Morning” has grown into a massive part of their careers, and now the show is entering its 30th season with Netflix along for the ride.

The best part? Fans aren’t losing the YouTube series they already know.

‘Good Mythical Morning’ is Now on Netflix

“Good Mythical Morning” is now available on Netflix, with a collection of Best of… episodes joining new episodes filmed starting with Season 30. The show continues to air on YouTube, meaning Mythical Beasts can still watch Rhett and Link the same way they always have.

According to People, the duo officially launched “Good Mythical Morning” in 2012 after beginning their online careers in 2006. After all these years, the show has become a regular part of the lives of the fans who have stuck around through all the strange food combinations, ridiculous challenges, and whatever else Rhett and Link decide to try next.

Honestly, it seems like there are very few things that could convince these two to change what works. And that’s exactly what makes the Netflix deal so interesting. The show isn’t being completely reinvented for a streaming audience. It’s still “Good Mythical Morning.”

And they aren’t the only Mythical favorites making the jump. Two spin-offs, both featuring Chef Josh Scherer, are also streaming on Netflix.

  • Mythical Kitchen” follows Josh and his team as they cook unexpected dishes, take on culinary challenges, and share meals with celebrity guests.
  • Last Meals” has Josh sitting down with celebrity guests to discuss the meals they would choose for their last day, along with the memories and stories connected to those foods.

Yep, there’s now quite a bit of Mythical content to explore if someone is discovering this world for the first time.

As “Good Mythical Morning” celebrates its 30th season, Rhett and Link are also looking back at just how unexpected this entire journey has been.

Speaking exclusively with People, Link admitted that he and Rhett originally thought their YouTube careers would eventually lead them somewhere else.

“We didn’t understand that it would become what it has become… We thought it was just the minor leagues training ground to go and do a real job in entertainment.”

That certainly didn’t happen.

Instead, the two continued making videos, built an incredibly loyal audience, and turned “Good Mythical Morning” into a long-running entertainment brand. They even joked about eventually aging out of the type of content they were making.

“We were like, ‘Well, eventually our hair or at least one of our hairs is going to start turning gray, and then people are going to not care anymore.’ And the fact that enough people still do care about what we’re doing, I would just say we’re grateful.”

It seems like the Mythical Beasts had other plans.

Rhett also opened up about what the Netflix deal means to him, explaining that he sees it as validation for the show they’ve continued to make and evolve over the years.

“I do think that it is validation that the show that we’ve been making and evolving over the course of 15 years and 30 seasons has now been picked up on Netflix with no changes. They’re saying, ‘We think that Good Mythical Morning will be a great fit on our platform. We think that there’s an audience there.’ We’re excited to say we agree. The show that we’ve been making and that continues to evolve is something that I believe will find a Netflix audience.”

That really seems to be the heart of the Netflix deal. Rhett and Link aren’t trying to become something completely different. They’re bringing the same show that their audience has continued to support to another platform.

And, honestly, that makes this milestone even better.

“We’re making it for the mythical beasts, the people who choose to watch Good Mythical Morning. And it was just, we’re making the thing that people have shown up for and will hopefully keep showing up for.”

Mythical Beasts Have Even More Ways to Watch

“Good Mythical Morning” continues to air Monday through Friday on YouTube at 6:00am ET, and the show is now also available on Netflix. For Rhett and Link, this is another milestone in a career that neither of them expected to last quite this long.

After 20 years online and 30 seasons of “Good Mythical Morning,” the duo still has an audience showing up to see what they’ll do next. And now, that audience has another place to find them. That’s a pretty great reason to celebrate.
