Adam Sandler is a beloved actor, but he is also a family man. Fans got a rare glimpse at his two teenage daughters, Sunny and Sadie, when they joined the “Happy Gilmore 2” actor and his wife, Jackie Sandler, at the “Jay Kelly” red carpet at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday, August 28.

Photos of the family were taken at the event, and the family looked incredible.
They were all stylish and color-coordinated looks, opting for a monochromatic wardrobe. Sandler wore a black suit, a white collared shirt, and a black bowtie. Jackie was stunning in a white gown, and Sadie, who is 19, wore a beautiful black flowy maxi dress to complement her dad’s outfit. Sadie, who is 16, also looked lovely in her outfit choice: a white, halter-neck style dress that complemented her mom’s dress.
It was a special time for the family because it marked the first time they had all attended the Venice Film Festival.
Adam Sandler’s Daughters Are Following in His Footsteps
Despite attending premieres and other events, Sandler has worked hard to ensure his daughters’ privacy is respected, and he has also put effort into how he raised them.
Sadie and Sunny appear in “Happy Gilmore 2,” which premiered on July 25, 2025. “I didn’t even know they were in this,” he told Fox News Digital in July 2025, New York Post reports. “No, they showed up on set, and I said, ‘What’s up? What are you doing here?’ They’re like, ‘We’re in this dude.’” But Sandler did have advice for his teens, and that was to treat everyone they work with with kindness and respect.
“Be nice to everybody,” the actor said of his advice. “The crew is all you got. They work their (expletive) off.” Julie Bowen, who joined Sandler for the interview, also complimented him on his children, saying he “raised them right.”
Sandler has also discussed the experience of working with his children and his “relief” that they did a great job. “Oh my god, you’re just relieved. Once they do it well, nothing feels better as a parent,” he told E! News on July 16. “It must be like when you’re the parents of a baseball player and you’re at the game and they get a hit. You just go, ‘Thank god.’ It’s just so much relief.”
