Love doesn’t come with rules — or an age limit and Anna Camp is proudly standing up for her relationship with girlfriend Jade Whipkey.
The ‘Bride Hard’ star, 42, recently spoke out after online comments surfaced about the couple’s 18-year age difference.
Whipkey, a stylist, is reportedly 24, but to Camp, what matters is the deep connection they share.

“I’ve dated men exactly my age and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them,” Camp wrote in an Instagram comment on Friday, June 20.
“We have more in common than anyone else I’ve ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything ♥️.”

Red Carpet Debut and a New Chapter
Camp and Whipkey were first romantically linked earlier this year. The couple made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Bride Hard premiere on June 18.
Camp had first confirmed their relationship back in February during a playful social media interview with Whipkey.

Reflecting on her dating experiences during that February chat, Camp said: “Well, I don’t expect anything anymore because I like women and it’s great.”
She also recalled one terrible date with a man: “I left a date once because a guy was, like, 45 minutes late, and I stayed and waited. Then he said that I was prettier in a movie than I was in person, because I’m an actor, and I was like, ‘OK, bye.’”
Camp also shared how her views on relationships have changed over the years.
“That in order to be happy, you have to be married to a guy, with children, at, like, 30 or something,” she said at the time. “That’s a conspiracy. That’s not true. I grew up in the South, and people told me that I basically had to do that.”
Looking Back — and Moving Forward
Camp was previously married to actor Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013, and later to her Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin from 2016 to 2019.
She remains on friendly terms with her exes, recently sharing on the Podcrushed podcast that she occasionally keeps in touch with Mosley, 46.
“It was like an out on the town [night] in Union Square with a couple of friends,” she recalled of meeting Mosley at 21. “It was like a one-night stand that lasted seven years.”
Camp reflected on how much they both changed after moving from New York to Los Angeles.
“To have it just not be working at all and having us be totally different people — that was really, really, really hard. That was definitely a heartbreak of mine.”
For now, Camp is focused on living and loving on her terms.
